Joshua Trip

My freind stephen and I talked about taking shrooms together and one day when we both had the same day off from work we decided to plan a trip to Joshua Tree national park,we both had an eight of Mushrooms to ourselves along with some great bud, the whole time on the way over to joshua tree we didnt even talk so much about what was going to happen or anything like that, we just enjoyed one anothers company and got stoned listening to the beatles and other stuff,I cant remember.One thing we decided was we would take the shrooms as soon as we got there maybe to catch a cool sunset. Stephen was already experienced in psychedelics and this was my first time doing mushrooms, strangely I was not nervous or uncomfortable about what could happen. When we arrived we took a little less than half and eight of them in pill form and munched on the rest as needed, we decided to go to a place called wonderland of rocks we ended up hiking around large mountains to find it, the hike was kind of tough and it made me forget I had just dropped mushrooms it began to get dark and I didnt know it at the time but I was starting to mildly trip, I would see the boulders on the mountains and they would look like characters from the planet of the apes, I started to see Neon green frogs jumping around,I dont know why I thought this was normal but i went with it. By now it began to get dark and we were just trying to get back to the car, it seemed like we would never get there.When we finally did we both started to feel the effects, we started driving down this road that was really bumpy and there was a sign that said do not enter, so I got the idea there must be something really cool behind this fence and encouraged my freind to continue, so we did.We started walking and walking and it looked like we were being pulled by this force that was calling me it was so dark and the road was so inviting I just wanted to keep walking and walking just too see what was out there, since my freind was more experienced he knew we would never stop, so he told me we should go back. when we did we both really started to trip, My freind was describing fireworks of all colors showering down from the sky and I began to see a woman on the right side of my vision she was neon blue and red like those signs in front of liquor stores, she was dancing like a genie however a genie would dance and talking to my mind, I kept thinking if I took more mushrooms she would be in front of my face and when I did think that she would move over a little letting me know it was true.Shrooms make you want to smoke an incredible amount of bud it taste so good so we continued to toke.We finally decided to stop in an isolated spot and listen to music we listened to Dark Side Of the Moon and stared up at the stars through my freinds moon roof, The sky began to breathe and lights would appear at of no-where, it looked so close I thought I could touch the stars,we attempted to eat and this was very strange and uncomfortable the texture of the food was weird I could not eat, I started drinking gatorade and I thought I was drinking Slime, I would go to grab something on the floor and would pull at it only to realize it was my leg, it felt as if I was detached from my body.We Began to listen to AIR the virgin suicides score, this is definitely a great album to listen to while staring at the stars, I began to have beautful thoughts and started to figure out my whole life even the stuff that was bad I found comfort in, I knew everything was going to be alright, I never felt so happy with my life and family and freinds and realized how lucky I really am, I began to realize my freind was reading my mind but I didnt care I no longer was afraid of anything in this universe, I was free and the world was beautiful, but most importantly I connected with a freind. Nothing but good vibes from then, I am convinced that if placed in the right enviroment and with the right people shrooms can be a very profound and beautiful experience one that can change your life for the better and not only that its just really fun to trip.
