Creating universes
This trip report will be a relatively short one, as it is a recollection of a mushroom trip I took about 8-9 years ago, and which I'm only now putting to words in light of reading all the other fascinating ones listed here.

One day my girlfriend & I went to Point Reyes (north of San Francisco) and took shrooms, probably two-thirds of an entire ziploc sandwich bag because we had no idea of the correct dosage. We then went walking on the hills above Pt Reyes and on down to the beach.
What I personally remember most vividly and to this day, was the very convincing realisation that we as sentient beings create the universe anew every split second that our minds perceive the world. This may sound metaphorical, but it's not. I literally realised that we're not in one constant universe that was created and exists outside of our perception of it, but that an entirely new universe is created every moment each one of us consciously perceives.
Perhaps this is something others have felt, or perhaps not. I can only say for myself that I was and remain convinced that such is the case. Interestingly enough, some of the most bleeding-edge physicists of our day are coming up with theories for the creation of the universe that arrive at the same conclusion - that the universe we live in is actually an infinite number of parallel universes across which matter and energy flow.
