You definitely get higher when holding it longer than 5 secs, noticeably higher, just try it for reals. I also take fairly large hits mind you, i usually kill my bowl in 3-4 hits (when im alone, i dont do that shit with other ppl)

I think holding it in longer gets you obviously higher i can only prove with personal experience and the fact that almost all other smoked drugs are held in longer for increased effects.

Don't know if you realised, but DMT and Salvia are different drugs to Weed... I think i will trust science over a stoner.
