The trek back from a hike for some velvets, and well worth it. It was a misty rainy haze all day.

This velvet foot was fruiting right over a maple twig, from a near by small tree. Didnt seem too bother it.

Best shot of the day, I was standing on crushed honey mushrooms and other slimy polypores, and mud. I walked around for about a half hour searching ..
