Scaley Vase Chanterelles. Gomphus floccosus.

Some scaly vase chanterelles. Although some hunting guides from 70-80s claim this fungus is edible, recent research shows it is not.

Gomphus Floccosus; This contains an indigestable acid, and should not be eaten. The outside is very rough and scaley with an inner slimy bumpy inside.

A delicious Crab Russula sepciman. Russula xerampelina. A choice edible when young, as it matures it'll turn a dark brown and taste slightly bitter.

Blackberry trails, my neighbor has over 50 acres of thick conifer/hardwood/poplar/maple forest.

Very mycorrhizal forest. Providing nutrition for all sorts of different fungi. The fruit from these bushes is very plentifull and delicious.

Cleaned up some Oysters that I found, Pleurotus cornucopiae. Most delicious fungi, found mostly on dying hardwood, and when found, found in plenty.

Macro close-up of the delicious EuroTrumpet Oyster, native too europe, somehow made its delicious lil ass over to america, and I'm thankfull.
