So...about these salvia cuttings.....

So i ahve a Salvia Divinorum plant, she is about a foot tall. she has a extending branch that goes about 6 in. I was thinking of reating another plant from this. I'm not too good with complex garden setup. and there is low humidity where i live. Can i just cut the plant, stick it in water and when it roots plant it? can it be that simple? what else do i need to know? Thanks! :laugh:
