I think you should be fine as long as you avoid standing water on the pins. Good luck growing, and of course, OM NOM NOM

heres some more pics i jsut took after the first morning spray/fan.
looks like things are comming along okish.
a little worried about the one pic where the bluness seems to be spreading to a mushroom.
also just thinking... could fanning too hard cause bruising?

I'm very confident you are contam-free. Looks like you did a good job removing those dead pins...that may have saves your cake! Everything else looks like damage and bruising IMHO...
Very nice, your mushrooms are beautiful. Sorta soggy still, make sure the setup is getting enough fanning and avoid letting the mushrooms themselves get wet.

im back, and WOW!!
almost nothing went wrong this time.
only thing is thew biggest shroom went green (rotted?) :S
other then that i think a couple of the cakes are ready for harvest

ok, finally done harvesting 3 of the cakes (veils hadn't broken very much on the 4th one and its small, so ill leave it for like another day).
127g wet.
not bad from only 3 cakes if you ask me.
i decided to cut open the stem of the green one...
the inside was blue... but thats prolly from me mushing it around lol.
no green that i could see.
tossed it after of course.
only other one im really worried about it the one with the darkness on the cap, but im guessing that just some spores cuz it rubs off.
anyways a pic of the harvest:

it was the first flush.
im not sure whats what... I was dumb and just put them all together in the dunk.
but the GT was faster from the beginning, so im GUESSING thats what it is.
idk what it was, but the B+ didnt do that well at all.
one of the innoc points didnt even colonize :S
now debaiting trying some tonight or waiting... have to admit im a little nervious being my first time especially with all the blueness on my cakes bringing the safety of my shrooms into question.
either way a good learning experiance for sure.
EDIT: wow... my home-made "shroom dehydrator" seems to be workin well :o
gone from nice, fresh, and a little sticky/wet to the touch to dry to the touch and starting to look dryer in about an hour.
might not even need dessicent.

I don't know but I have read a few mentions by experienced cultivators of stagnant water on cakes causing bruising. Water droplets on your cakes are still visible in your pics.
Are you planning on dunking in between flushes as well?

im dumb, never said what my dehydrator is...
anyways its basicly a small tub with a fan on one end and some holes in the other end and a drying rack inside...
shrooms are starting to wrinkle now lol.
and yes, im dunking and rolling in between flushes, the 3 cakes i just harvested are in water atm :P
on another topic... one of my other cakes has a sort of redish lookin spot on it :o and a couple of shrooms on the last fruiting cake are deformed, still good?
 
also a couple of my cakes still only have small pins are 1-2 little shrooms on them, are they messed up or just slow?

just ate 20g fresh shrooms (the big ones from the last fruiting cake)... let the good times roll
got to say... they dont taste NEARLY as bad as i thought.
actually they dont taste bad at all if you dont think about it. its the thinking and eating quantities thats the problem... lol
that was 20 min or so ago, and i think im startin to feel something.
woot, finally something works out for me :P

just relized the redish spots COULD be spores... but im not sure. ill have to keep a close eye on that cake.
also those were definatly GT... the B+ are comming in now and the caps look totally differnt.
