Mine were 77qt tubs, I used 1 brick quart 1 quart verm and 1 quart coffee from starbucks on each tub. It took them forever to pin. Once they did a few monsters skyrocketed and I thought that's all I would get, shortly after that I got a really nice pinset. Lucky me! I think I'm going to buy the same camera I had last time. I'll be sure to create a grow log and share my experience with you guys.

Im doing an exact replica of this grow.
Using same tub and same size FAE and spawning with B+ on rye.
I spawn it tomorrow morning.
Also, questions!
What size holes did you use for FAE?
And how did you dry them?

I used spent Coffee grounds, got them from Starbucks, they had them sitting in neatly packed bags right by the door. I fan dry the mushies then put them in a cardboard box with a ton of desiccant until cracker dry. The holes were about 2 inches in diameter in my tub.

Thanks damion. Ill edit this post to include a link to my grow log once im done.
Currently have a 27qt 5inch sub B+ in addition to a tidy cats litter pail Hawaiian 3 inch sub both are 1 day colonized.
also have another tiday cats pail with B+ in it thats 2 days.
and in another two days i make two more of these tubs for an additional B+ and H each.

Are you using decaf grounds? If so/not, what kind of grounds exactly? Just curious. I use low caffeine grounds and if you've had good experience using regular caffeinated grounds, i'd like to do that too. I can get nicer, organic grounds that way.

extra food and nutes man, I think the coffee relly speeds up colonization too.
From what Ive been reading a "perfect" substrate is a mix of everything you can get your hands on. with a 10% gysum and pint of coffee.

oh i see. but you add the grounds during colonization for fruiting right? or is it put in in the beginning when preparing your substrate to inoculate?

you mix it into your substrate, with all other ingredients before pasteriaztion for doin bulk.

I'm just about to finish my first grow.
What I do is break up a brick of coir into pieces and place it in a bucket, I then add a pint of coffee to the bucket and a quart of verm. I then add 5 quarts of boiling water to it. Stir it up really good make sure all the coir absorbed water I then cover it with a lid for 3-5 hours to cool to around 95-100 degrees. I then take that and dump it into my freshly cleaned mono tub. I then mix in 4-5 quarts of spawn and the cover it for 14 days till it is colonized.
