 LSD inside you FOREVER

I've had quite the time with LSD in the past (and present). Today I was thinking about the usage and what it's done to me. Who really knows but it's changed me like every day living changes someone.
What really got me thinking though is what happens to it inside your body? There is such a small amount of chemical going through you, does it all get passed through and OUT? Is it possible that since there is such a small amount that it just ends up finding a nook inside you and it sits down and rests forever inside a little cranny in your system?
I think it's entirely possible, but what an amazing drug it is.

I think theres a myth that it stays in your spine forever but I dont beleive its true.

Yes, actually my cellular/molecular biology professor brought this up in class one day. Apparently the chemical structure of LSD makes it very susceptible of getting incorporated during fat storage. Meaning that when you burn off that fat later its actually possible to trip!

Yeah when I smoked a lot of pot and played sports,(LOL tennis actually) when we would get working really hard and start burning and sweating I would feel like I was baked, but it was a light stone.
I'm starting a job where I'll be walking miles a day so I'll see if I start to trip one of these days.
Just saying that LSD gets stuck in your spine is pretty stupid, if it gets stuck there it gets stuck everywhere.

LSD is incredibly unstable. The fact that it can make it to your brain is pretty incredible, but it happens that the human body uses lots of unstable compounds, so it is able to channel these chemicals for enough time to get them around the body. ITs another step to suggest that there are vacant 'spots' in the body where the drug could a) get to and then b) was protected from outside forces forever.

I dunno if its actually true or not but he was dead serious. He is a pretty respectable professor as well. However i dont know whether or not actual scientific research has been done regarding this. Various things on the internet say that it is possible for the LSD to be incorporated into fat and released later, but the internet isnt that reliable eh? HIGHLY doubt it will stay in the system forever though. Most of it is excreted quickly.

After riding 20 miles on a bike I felt like I had eaten a hit of acid. It was really strange. I even looked in a mirror and my pupils were abnormally big.

Excercise gets you high. Cannabinoids can get incorporated into your fat and subsequently get your high when you're burning fat.
LSD will not. And definitely not in sufficient quantities to make you trip. Your prof must've been tripping when he said that.

ok guys, this one is just not true. no it does not stay in a little nook inside you forever or in your spine or anywhere. No offense friends but how could you really believe that? its metabolized from your body within 9 hours i believe, its out of your system incredibly fast, almost amazingly so. It can not be tested for with a spinal tap LOL, I really do not know how these rumors get started but please do not perpetuate them, they just are not true sorry. It literally is out of your body within 12 hours, sorry to burst anyones bubbles. It changes you permanently because it changes your perspective on life sometimes in radical ways, not because a little bit of it is still inside!!!!

Joseph was a 43 year-old investment banker reminiscing one morning about his past to Thomas at the fifteenth-floor office water cooler on Wall Street. So regardless if its proven that it doesn't/can't stay in your system (I just read LSD, My Problem Child by Albert Hofmann where he adresses and debunks this myth). Someone once told me that it stays in your spine forever and if you go into space/0g's then you will start to trip again. This is more than likely a bunch of BS but seriously how sweet would that be to get a free trip just by going into space? /How awesome would tripping in space be?
Shotty on being the first human to dose in space. No blitz.

Changing perspective doesn't count for changing YOU. At that point it's not the drug, it's yourself pushing your life in a new direction. These drugs just change whats there, they don't add or detract from your body.
I was hoping that it all leaves, thanks to entropy. I don't know why I was thinking about it, it's just that so little enters, it seemed likely that less would leave...or something. It's just weird dealing with such a microscopic amount of chemical.
It's hard to believe something just because someone's said it a thousand times. Damn I don't believe things just because they are in my head already. People pass around 'facts' and I know the internet is probably the worst place to find these 'facts' and solidify them.
