The most I EVER dose now of benzo's is 5mg of diazepam and that's rarely, usually it's medical.
I've done my fair share of benzo abuse, xanax definitely gave me the most trouble.
I'm surprised you can even tell that story, my benzo abuse stories usually start with ~60 minutes of beer and pills, then suddenly I'm in lockup or naked in the middle of a bush 24 hours later.
It's not until police officers or close friends fill me in on what REALLY happened that I begin to sink into a big hole of depression. I've never driven though, I would get 30 feet out of my house then probably crash into a neighbours living room.
Most of the time I just dialed everyone I hate on my phone and tell them what I think, then go harass my ex-gf's at there house which usually ends in horror.
Evil stuff in recreational doses.

i just got back from court and they dropped my case. they were trying to stick me with a 2nd DWI but they didnt have shit on me. im walking away clean!!!

im so fucking lucky. i also found out some other shit that night from my mom and after she had told me i remembered.
theres one part where the dirt road ends, but leads onto the highway which cars are able to do 70-80 mph. anyway, i was driving to fast and realized i was coming on to the highway and had slammed on the breaks. my car slid all the way to the other side of the highway. my mom was saying that the skid marks were fresh and from that morning. after she told me i had remembered the shit.
that would have crazy if i side swiped another vehicle doing 80 or if i was side swiped. either way, it would have been deadly.
i did learn my lesson though. i will never touch another benzo again, i will never drink and get behind the wheel, and i will never take that much lsd alone. i was extremley lucky this time.
i fought the law and.... I WON!!!! hahahahaha.
