Start looking for a job. It might not be easy in this economy, but if you are persistent and are willing to take whatever work you can find, you might have some luck.

Ya dont be afraid to ask anyone man...A place to sleep is worth a little bit of pride. Also there should be shelters and kinds of temporary housing, im not sure where you live but i would suggest looking that up whlie you can.

Do you have a tent?
I've been homeless before, it was controlled homelessness, meaning it was my choice, but I survived well enough. If you have labour ready in your town that'll help alot, or you could try living off the land, but that's pretty hard to do if your not prepared.

If you're in a warm climate that certainly helps. Take advantage of social services. Good luck, take care of yourself, you'll be fine.

What area are you living in? That plays a big part. I'll reiterate the benefit of readylabour places that pay daily, that was basically the only way I stayed alive while homeless. If it's cold, I agree you should head south to warmer climes for the time being, no point staying somewhere with no opportunities and shitty weather when your free to roam.
In fact, you could take this as an opportunity to live a nomadic life. Think about it, you have no job, no permanent home, you have a fantastic choice in front of you. Go travel, see the world! Every road is a new journey now, take advantage of it.

Google "homeless survival" -- that will pull quite a few guides.
I guess the larger question here is why are your parents kicking you out? If you have habits that you have to feed then staying off the streets is going to be a real struggle.
If you're not having to pay out money for drugs and not spending a lot of time being too wasted to work, then not being homeless isn't really that hard, hundreds of millions of people have figured it out. The first hurdle is going to be getting money as quickly as possible. To that end I would turn off the computer right now and go get a job flipping burgers or something similar for as many hours a week as possible. Then go get a second one of these jobs. Take your pay stubs to your parents and try to talk them into letting you stay for another month. Offer to take a piss test if that's the issue with them. If you have anything of value, now is the time to sell it.
Get on craigslist and find someone looking for a room mate for as cheaply as possible near your job or close to a bus route. Sit down with a piece of paper and figure out exactly how much money you need to live each month. Stick to your budget. Try to skim some free meals off your burger jobs.
After you have your immediate needs for food and shelter taken care of you can start longer term planning. Look at going to a trade school. A lot of these have twelve month programs where you can learn how to do heating and air repair, or car body work, etc., and you can get student loans so you don't have to pay anything out of pocket. From there you can get a decent job and go do anything else you want.
If worse comes to worse, do whatever you can to maintain proper hygiene. No one wants to help out a smelly homeless looking dude. Take showers at truck stops if that's an option...keep at least one clean set of clothes for job interviews, do whatever it takes to avoid being the smelly homeless dude.
You can survive and even thrive. Embrace the challenge and be willing to do whatever it takes.

Get a job near a shelter/soup kitchen.
I was "houseless" for a while ("homeless" is a state of mind ) fortunately I saved enough for a car to sleep in.

The only advice I can give you is to not take out student loans. That's a bad idea I think, because you still might not be able to get a higher paying job after it and then you have this big monthly payment, it sucks. I would use the tuition assistance that an employer can give you + financial aid.
And for showers you can get a gym membership and use their showers.

I told my daughter that when she turned 18 1 of 3 things had to happen
1. she had a job 2. she was in college 3. she was on the streets
the choice was hers.
I'd bet the OP was given a similar choice

i live in a small town 100 miles west of philly. thats what really sucks because there absolutely no opportunities here, not to mention the climate sucks. i don't have a car otherwise i'd just drift and go south. so right now i think my best option is to take a bus to philly as i figure theres alot more options there

Who says you need a car? Train hop, hitchhike, walk, do whatever it takes, get creative. And definitely if your doing heroin as your screenname implies, stop that shit or you'll never make it.
I'm gonna be hitting the road/trail/sidewalk/whatever pretty soon, heading for South America. I don't have a car, I want to save up a couple hundred bucks for emergencies, but on the whole I'm gonna have nothing but my camping gear and my will to travel.
Going to the city is probably your best bet if being a nomad isn't your thing. Not what I'd choose, but do what it takes man, more power to you.

Philly's economy and weather is terrible. Can you make it to somewhere else? Charlotte or somewhere else will have more jobs.
