OK, the wit may have sucked but do you remember when the Chargers/Steelers were squaring off in the '94 AFC Championship game?? The Steelers were not only heavily favored to beat the Chargers but also were strong picks in the Superbowl vs. whoever got there on the NFC side (the Steelers would have been trounced by the 49'ers if they played, BTW).
The Steelers in the week prior to the game with the Chargers were so confident that they were putting together a Superbowl rap video and players were behaving and living as though they had already won the Superbowl.
That was the point to my post.
