 Stealth grow...?

I want to grow mushrooms in the stealth box www.pcgrowcase.com has to offer. I know i can build one myself but i dont want to fuck with all of that .
I was thinking about getting both of the grow boxes they offer so i can use them both. What would I have to add to make this work? I know people grow weed in them using lowryder but i want to grow just shrooms. Any advice would be helpful Thanks

Dude, besides the fact that the website is hurting my eyes, that's bunk. Nice business idea, though. Buying a truckload of cheap chinese PC cases for 5$ a piece, fitting 4 lights inside for another 10$ and selling it for 225$. Well, not exactly, but that comes pretty close.
What I am saying is crack out an old PC case and apply some craftsmanship (jmello had a really neat idea for a stealth setup in a speaker). Much more rewarding if you've accomplished it yourself as well. In the same way it's much more rewarding to grow mushrooms yourself than to simply buy them on the street.

How are you going to turn that into a stealth setup? I think he came to ask the question not because he was looking for a cheap and easy rig, but because the PC case appealed to his stealth needs.

How hard is it to hide a small tupperware?
Unless you're growing in your parents house or something it shouldnt be hard to hide a 5-10 gallon tupperware.

You could use a cabinet and the LED's in my sig with are "accent" LEDs from lights of america. They are pretty good lights imo.

I was going to make one but i cant find 24" pc towers for cheap, and really, i just want one right now and dont want to mess with building one myself. But honestly, i shouldnt have any issues growing in one should i? Im after stealth because i know my roommates would probably shit their pants if they knew i was growing an illegal substance (they're all hardcore fundamental christians).

I am set up in an old refrigerator and you would never know what is happening inside. I am sure you could do one in a mini fridge just as easy. I use a heating pad for heat and at low with a 16" Flo tube I hit 74* on the nose. Drape a tapestry over it and use it as a coffee table.

First of all, those things are waaaaaayyyy too expensive for what they are. Second, you could easily rig up a stealth set up yourself for so much cheaper. Just buy a container and put it in the bottom of a closet, add those lights that lenny k was talking about, and put a lock on it. If your "roomates" are really crazy enough to a.)snoop around your room and b.) rat you out to the police, why are you living with them?

(Word of caution: I am talking completely out of my ass here, I have never attempted the following:)
You could fit a personal grow in a shoebox if needs be!
Honestly, four jars of PF cakes, some microwaved cherry seeds (or better jet, buckwheat, tear open one of those pillows if you can spare the coin) for heat,replaced twice daily, insulate with towels and you've got an incubator, one that would fit just fine in a salvaged computer case .
Line that sucker in foil on the inside, poke some holes, put micropore tape over the holes. I'm pretty sure you could fit a battery pack and a simple led light in there too, damp perlite and a bunch of tape to keep the electronics from frying, hello fruiting chamber.
Heck, upgrade to a footlocker and ... wait just let me link to the place I got this idea from:

I don't really understand why people who grow in their parents house are treated as if they're taking some sort of an extra risk by doing so. Yes, there is the risk of the parents finding out. However, why is it ok for someone who grows in their friends house to make things stealth, but not in their parents house? Yes it's stupid for someone possibly so young to be doing this, but it's no bigger of a risk.

True, but how would it be any different from the government stealing your friends house. No one seems to chastise people that put their friends at risk like this, but when it's parents, it's different. I'm not condoning either situation, I'm just pointing out a double standard between to the situations.

I'm in college so if this guy is telling the truth, I might be able to offer some advice.
I lived in the dorms for two years and really, forget about relying on something being hidden well enough to stop your roomie from finding it if he really wants. The best bet to keep things secret would be to get some kind of lockable container that worked or grow inside some drawer or something that you might be able to put a lock on.
Really though, it's not worth getting kicked out of school for growing shrooms on school property. At best you'd get kicked out of the residence halls and be forced to go to months of drug-rehab "counseling." Just be absolutely sure you're roommate can't see the actual shrooms under any circumstances if you decide to give it a try.
