yah xtcc strikes me as someone under 18 years of age. he hosts games on his website that will prolly get him locked up in the future, and then he runs around here telling people they shouldn't buy games and just download them
it actually seems like the only reason he is here is to support his website and old games, he's always knocking on the newer games like crysis but im still not conviced he's played it for more than 5 minutes. infact i don't recall him mentioning any newer game to play. i just checked his posts and he says not to use steam at all and the one and only newer game ive seen him mention that he plays is left 4 dead lol..
oh and i bet he doesn't even know how duel and quad cores work

Well nice to get a bite
42 years old, Hosting Games since 2001
Hey Kung Foo man, David Caridine, I put some patches on my site so you could actually play AvP2 online again
Maybe you should TROLL back through some of your posts, but hey I have a life, & dont waste my time on fools like you
As for new games that I have, try these FEAR2, Delta Force Xtreme, Delta Force Xtreme 2, Cryis Warhead, Warhammer Dawn of War 2, Left for Dead 2
All purchased in the last 3 months, & Iam not so stupid to put games on my site that will get me locked up, all games on my site are EULA compliant, FEAR & some other games direct you to their offical site to Download
Also Iam not the only 1 running around here saying that you dont need to pay for games, alot of the older games are on free wear, which means the companys that own them have bought out new games, & release their older games for free
Ok now STEAM, they offer no REFUNDS for games that you purchase, no matter what the problem is, you just loose your money
As for opening up your 2nd core, or Quad core on your PC
LMFAO, I was going to tell you, now you will have to work it out yourself
Have fun gaming, cya

I would recommend
Dual or Quad core intel processor good mobo with nice onboard sound 4gb ddr2 ram nice pci express graphics card good case for cooling good fans and heatsink 20-22" widescreen lcd (if you already have one, reuse it)
should be able to build a game machine with all of the above that will play all games out now, and any for the next few years for around $1000 with monitor, $800 without.
peace
hell no, dont go with intel they are too proud of their shit, its really no better.
i just built my new computer, same nice ass case i had before but an AMD Phenom (the best kind, but not the 2, you dont need a 2)
the nvidia 9500 that will play anything you want for a long while and is 1 gig, is way better than overpaystation or shaftbox. used the same DVD rom drive, and the same IDE hard drive, 160 gig, with good onboard sound.
anything more is a waste, you can always upgrade later when the nicer shit comes down in price. i intend to also install a blueray/hd player when the price comes down and blue ray discks are cheaper.
also it has a DVI to HDMI cable and is basically a hometheater pc. I have a saitek cybork rumble pad and plenty of other shit i just keep reusing.
nowhere near 1000, unless you count the 42 inch 1080 flatscreen which if I get a tv tuner/video capture card will replace my direct tv dvr.

Heh.
I have a dual-core AMD Athlon and an Nvidia 9600GT and there aren't many recent games that I can't easily play at max settings.
I know this isn't anything like top of the line, but I think I paid like $400?
Seriously, it seems that at a certain point you are paying way, way, way more money for increasingly diminished returns.

Hey Kung Foo man, David Caridine, I put some patches on my site so you could actually play AvP2 online again
clearly your running out of logic in this debate and have to resort to your trolling, by the way i believe all i did was mention the servers were down....i never asked for a patch. and im not even sure what your point is anyway
Maybe you should TROLL back through some of your posts, but hey I have a life, & dont waste my time on fools like you
clearly you do, prolly because i tend to bring the retard out in people
As for new games that I have, try these FEAR2, Delta Force Xtreme, Delta Force Xtreme 2, Cryis Warhead, Warhammer Dawn of War 2, Left for Dead 2
left for dead 2? i thought you were pissed off at steam and didn't want anybody to use their service? and you can't mention crysis...we both know you don't play that game.
All purchased in the last 3 months, & Iam not so stupid to put games on my site that will get me locked up, all games on my site are EULA compliant, FEAR & some other games direct you to their offical site to Download
i don't know what cracked out 3rd world country you live in but you have games up that have been recently released and/or are still for sale....hence your shits in violation somewhere and even piratebay went down so....if your shit was legit you wouldn't be telling people to download cracks n shit for multiplayer too.
Also Iam not the only 1 running around here saying that you dont need to pay for games, alot of the older games are on free wear, which means the companys that own them have bought out new games, & release their older games for free
yes but your telling people to download any and all games, and then you give links to your website which have some newer games on there. and for the record even some OLD DOS games are illegal, as well as nes, snes, and other console games...hence age doesn't mean squat.
Ok now STEAM, they offer no REFUNDS for games that you purchase, no matter what the problem is, you just loose your money
you can't get refunds at a regular store either....seriously are you living in a cave somewhere?
plus my steam games get updated almost weekly so thats support right there....maybe if you actually bought your fucking games you wouldn't have problems ever think of that?
As for opening up your 2nd core, or Quad core on your PC
LMFAO, I was going to tell you, now you will have to work it out yourself
Have fun gaming, cya
i thought your point was that multi cores were completly useless oh but now you have them figuered out but you can't say because its me

i use a dvi to hdmi cable but then again this would only work for hdmi compatible televisions\
my motherboards onboard video uses hdmi but also system memory, having a video card is a lot better.

they make converters than use rca cables, actually them make converters for just about everything, its really easy to get a tv hooked up. the only downfall is text usually looks really small on bigger tv's

Yeah, I have a TV/OUT on my motherboard.
Both S-Video and HDMI.
And I only have Coax into my television.
So I have a converter box, S-Video to Coax.
But it doesn't work. I don't know if I have the right pinset on the S-Video cable.
They make it so fucking complicated. I need a TV w/ HDMI.

im guessing it doesn't convert the video, so in other words im guessing its just a line splitter. so when you plug in svideo all it does is let you output it as svideo. so you'll need a converter....but i just read the discription and it says it will convert svideo over to RF
so just make sure that your svideo is hooked up to input 1, then make sure the button on the front has 1 selected, then make sure your tv is on channel 3 and the switch on the back of that converter box is on 3(also try channel 4 and switch 4 incase)
if it don't work then take it down to bestbuy and tell them even if you don't have the recipe maybe they can test it out for you or something

It's most definitely a converter. It does RCA/Component/S-Video
I think the box itself works fine, it's just a matter of getting my computer set up for multiple displays.
Actually, just the other day I noticed a tab on my "nVidia Device Manager" that lets you select the display you want to use so I may see if that has something to do with it next time I'm at home.
Like I say, I'm nearly positive this is my fault. I've never tried to do this before and so having someone come in and set it up would likely be an ideal solution after I give up.

oh i thought you ment you might have had the converter setup wrong otherwise i wouldn't have typed that out, indeed there most likely is an option to enable your svideo for the motherboard. im not familiar with the recent nvidia gpu/ or motherboard drivers so you'll just have to check that out or throw up some screenshots. ive never had a motherboard with intergrated graphics either so that complicates it a tad bit more for me. also getting the newest drivers from nvidia can only help

ive got a decent notebook that runs games like fallout 3 no problem.. though crysis gave it a workout [bad memories of 800 x 600].
ive got a fat dual P8400 running at 2.24 gigs and an ok ATI radeon chipset. 3 gigabytes of memory though its shared with the graphics.. its an ok setup.
btw: to anyone whos familiar with fallout 3 on pc: did you experience longer loading times as you progressed farther in the game? my, what used to be 3-4 sec, loads have gone to a 10-15 or longer.
