So, these yellow spots are getting darker and more and more... So, metabolites are a sign it's fighting infections, what are the chances it will win. lol

That's metabolizing in a lot of different places. About how far along do you think it's colonized? I'd say it looks about 65 - 75% from that angle. It really depends on what kind of contam you have, but I would guess it's bacterial. It might make it through it, I haven't really had that many different spots it was pissing so I can't really say. Whatever happens good luck

Yeah, it's not pissing... doesn't have a bladder... It's been fruiting for like a week... it was 100%, but it just keeps getting whiter.

The colonizations looks kinda patchy if you ask me. Yes it's metabolites...but i'm a lazy typer and is often referred to as piss; so why not call it?

lol, I just see a lot of people saying it's not piss, and since it's not really capable of urinating... ya know haha... Well it wasn't all patchy, it used to be even until the super white started popping up, i heard trich does that but it doesnt really look like trich.

I'm thinking it won't pin for a long ass time...Your sub isn't 100%colonized...I bet if you cut into that sucker it would have some areas that aren't even close to being done. It looks like your sub is either too wet or too dry at parts or you could have problems with nutes. I had this happen to two of my monotubs except their outer layer was way more developed than yours.. Another possiblity is that you might have some sort of bacteria problem going on. The most MYC piss I've ever seen in my tubs was 2 or 3 droplets. Something is going on. If you don't start to see signs of fruiting you might want to break that bitch up and let it recolonize (if it doesn't recolonize the you'd know you might have had bacteria). That's what I did on one of my tubs and it's looking great! If it comes down to the point in which you have to break it up you might want to add just a bit of distilled water to the mix (you can boil it if you want. I didn't).

it's been in the monotub for over 2 week, seems it would be close to done... with a 4:1 ratio... how long should I wait before breaking it up?

Duration of time means shit. I had a sub in a monotub for 3 weeks and it was wet and raw in the middle. Some times you have to break shit up to get things going again. Sometimes you can loose the tub as a whole. That might be the case with one of my tubs right now. It's not colonizing correctly after I broke that bitch up. My other tub recovered really nice. So it's all in the hands of mother nature.
I'd say if you don't see fruits or pins after over a week and a half of being in fruiting conditions you should break it up (after 10 days). On a side note that sub really doesn't look close to a 100% it looks like it's somewhere in 60-70% range at most. Who knows whats going on under that top layer of myc. I'm betting it's raw.

Well good call, I just cut into it and a bunch of it isn't colonized, only about an inch, which makes no since considering i mixed it up... would that happen to explain the yellowing? so i should just break it all up, it seemed pretty wet still btw

I'd mix it up. It might actually colonize to 100% faster. Sometimes you might have areas where it won't colonize at all. That shit could rot real fast. Just give it a bit of water as you break it up. Your sub looks really dry. Don't give it too much water. You'll have to do a judgment call on that.
Don't worry about that yellowing just break that up into the mix too. Break everything up real fine. Everything will be caked together. Yellow liquid is just the MYC fighting off bacteria.

if the inside of your sub isnt colonized breaking it up and mixing it is by far the WORST thing you could do. anything that has landed on the top of you sub while in fruiting will be mixed in with uncolonized sub and i gurantee 100% you will loose that sub uf you do that.
just leave it. it didnt colonize for a reason. maybe your sub was too wet.

I guess ill lose it, I mixed it up... haha, wished Id seen that before... I don't think it was going to colonize like it was anyway, though...
Although, good thing it was alot more colonized than I thought it was, probably about 75%... so maybe that will help my chances

Bold words. I did just that a week ago and my sub was heavily contaminated with the environment (it feel on the floor, had tap water cover it, and even feel in a bath tub that was uncleaned)and guess what happened...Nothing my sub recolonized to 100% and will be fruiting in the next day or two. You can't guarantee shit with a 100% accuracy. This I have learned so for. If you don't believe me just read my threads from a week or two ago.
The only thing that worries me about his tub is the large amount of yellow. If does have an infection from bacteria then it will spread like crazy.
To me he and I were both dealt bad cards. He can face his sub rotting (which it will eventually do especially with wet spots). In my mind the idea of anything trapped between a layer of fungus and a plastic bag makes my stomach turn or he has the option to see if mixing things up a bit will help like it did in my case. In any case something is stalling his growth. These maybe are just my opinions but they have worked for me so far (in the real work, this isn't some bull shit I've read about and I'm telling him to do like a good deal of people on this board do). I've also have read a great deal of people have mixed up their bulk during a stalled growth to great success just like me.

Man I bet you'll be fine. Your monotub has millions of more myc than it did when you spawned it. That will help fend off some germs. Best of luck buddy!

i read your other post man, you seem really confused. it's common sense as to what will happen if you mix a sub up that isnt fully colonized again after its ben sitting in fruiting for a few weeks.
if he did everything propery that sub should have been pure white throughout in 7 days or less and he should have had fruits by now. like i said: im guessing the sub was too wet and that's why it didnt colonize fully in the middle or its contam'd already.

well it's been in fruiting one week, colonizing for 1 week... I'm just worried about the bacteria that is on the top getting mixed in... I wouldn't be surprised if it contaminates... I've had the worst fucking luck.
