and how is it abuse of the system? general ratings are there for people to voice their likes/dislikes about members. maybe if you didn't go saying stupid things, especially in otd, or in places otders are going to see it, then you wouldn't get bad ratings

Yes, there is one thing that can be done, but you may not like it.
Long ago when OTD was first established, the charter members put forth some rules to guide the forum. There was a little known section about 630 pages in that set out how someone could regain grace with the other forum members were anything to ever happen.
It described two - and take note my use of the word two here, because unlike you and your apparent retardedness, I use it correctly (BTW, it's all too common you fucking moron) - and only two ways to set things right with the gods of OTD after you performed an act of sacrilege. You must take a picture of yourself reenacting either tubgirl or goatse and the requisite piece of paper in your own hand claiming your identity and a statement asking for forgiveness.
The question you must ask yourself now is just how important are the ratings?
