Lets face it, magic mushrooms aren't the most palatable of things. This is why I try to disguise the taste as much as possible when I take them.
I usually boil some water, then add the shrooms, some tea bags (2 per person - usually PG Tips  ) and a shit load of white sugar (3 table spoons per person), then keep on the heat (not bubbling) for 15-20 mins.
With the slushy shrooms afterwards I sprinkle some more sugar on them then hold my nose and eat as quickly as possible.
Or with liberty caps, I squeeze several into a large pill size and swallow them whole - avoiding any prolonged contact with my tastebuds.
Saying that, I bet many of you wrong-uns like the taste!

bleh, i used to like the taste.
now i make tea and cover it up with orange pekoe/green tea (either), sugar, honey, and just a touch of lime or lemon juice. i always strain out those nasty chunks, too.

ive crushedem and puttem in OJ and that went well, eating them is ok by me... put them in grinded them and puttem in lemon juice and took it as a shot, it made me feel woozy and didnt like that. i prefer to just grindem up and swallow with water though most.

If they are fresh, like just picked, ill eat em fresh, they taste awesome when fresh.
If they are dry, its a whole other ballpark of taste, called BLAGH.
For dry shrooms, ill boil up some water, pour in a large mug, and steep a green tea bag, and a strong fruity tea, usually strawberry or peach.
Once the tea steeped, ill take out the bags, and once the tea is cool enough, but still kinda hot, ill add large amounts of honey, and my shrooms.
Then its all down the hatch, if the shrooms are broken up, NOT powdered, its quite tasty.
Broken up i mean 1/4inch or so sized.
I usually spoon out the large chunks and swallow them.
Powder muck is hard to get down.
All i ever taste is the fruit tea and honey.

Dry them, grind them till they are a powder, then insert into enteric gel capsules, that way not stomach nausea, and no degradation of material in the stomach, It is not till the shrooms get to the intestines that chemical is absorbed by the body.
Also I drink Grapefruit juice to down regulate the production of the CYP3A4 enzyme responsible for breaking down most drugs.
No funky taste, no mushroom burps, no stomach aches, stronger trips.
Yay for science.

Grind, mix thoroughly in guava juice, filter through cheesecloth first then filter through a regular coffee filter.
Pain in the ass process, but I hate drinking the mush pulp. Capsules would be preferable, but I'm cheap and it would be even more of a pain in the ass to pack capsules.

Once powdered, my favorite mode of ingestion is cranberry juice. Its sour and sweetness makes the dry mushroom flavor almost unnoticeable.

I crush them up into almost powder, then i put them in my mouth and swollow them. I usually chase them with a beer or a diet pepsi. I know some people like to chase them with grapefruit juice because it helps you trip harder, but i don't ever want to trip harder than i intend to honestly.

i just break em up (fresh or dry) and boil for a few minutes, pour into mug, add yogi brand bedtime tea (sooo good with shrooms) and enjoy. the tea has licorice root and gives it a magical earthy flavor, it also has scullcap, lotus, passionflower extract, and other herbs to kick it up a notch.
try that if you have a problem with shroom flavor

but really i dont mind the taste and ive never recall experience enough nausea to complain about

How the Shroomy 1 Likes to eat his shrooms!
This is just one way for those of you who have weak stomaches or just want to make enough for 6 of your buddies without the taste problem. The following recipe is for two. (you and your girl).
Weigh out the decided dosage. In this case I weighed out 4gms. (yea, the damn scale turned off before I could take the picture)
Place the dried mushrooms in a coffee grinder, or in my case, The Magic Bullet.
Start grinding! I like mine powder fine!
Place ground up shrooms in a small bowl.
Get your peanut butter cookie dough! You can use chocolate chip, but in my experience, Peanut butter cookies are softer, chewier, and overall a better taste.
Cut about an 1 1/2 inch of dough for your cookies.
Place in mixing bowl and start mixing the cookie dough and the powder fine mushrooms.
Make one big ball of the mix and cut in in two. I would weigh it out on the scale so that you are sure to have equal doses. Place on cookie pan and flatten out with a fork, (giving it it's criss cross pattern).
Cook at 350 degrees for 11-14 minutes and then let cool for 10 minutes. There you have it!
This recipe was for 2. You can do the math and make as many as you want. I GUARANTEE THEY WILL BE THE BEST TASTING MUSHROOM COOKIES YOU AND YOUR BUDDIES WILL EVER HAVE AND POTENCY WILL NOT BE AN ISSUE! Like my recipe? You'll love it!

still in the bag i put them into one corner crush rip the corner of the bag off and throw them down my throat, chase with about a half pint of whiskey. Makes the come up easier for me and i can sleep whenever i want to, tripping or not. I generally am drunk as fuck when i trip, i like it allot more that way. All feelings of anxiety are gone using this method

The taste has never really bothered me much, my friends don't understand how i can eat em' without anything else but i find the taste really blan. Almost like cardboard and sunflower seeds.
I have never had mushrooms fresh though, how does the taste differ when fresh?

Ahh yes the texture...I have always wondered about that with fresh fungus. Usually textures get to me as well, there are certain foods that i hate and certain foods that i absolutely love just because of the texture.

I get an uber blender and throw in the dry shrooms and blend them to a fine powder, then add orange juice and blend more. Then I pour it into a glass and slam the whole thing as fast as possible. Or I'll just eat them plain

I actually got my method off of someone on Shroomery.
I usually wrap them up in a Fruit Rollup and eat that tasty motherfucker.
That or grind it up and put it in a homemade Orange Julius.

Never have understood the whole "they taste nasty" thing. If you want nasty then try gulping down some blended san pedro!

I chop them up into tiny pieces and swallow it down a mouthful at a time with some OJ like I'm taking a bunch of pills. Or just eat them.

Usually steep & strain, then add some kind of powdered flavoring, could be kool-aid, crystal light, etc. but most of the time it's hot cocoa mix. Heavy & rich chocolate flavor gets rid of any hint of shroominess well.
That or cut em up into small, easy-to-swallow pieces, and down each piece one by one with a drink. Cracker dry is a must for this route :~)

What's stopping him is that spores are illegal in his state and no vendors ship there. Same goes with GA. I think Ohio might have laws against it too.

Also cannabis seeds are prohibited nationwide, people still grow do they not?
