I only have one issue with this forum and its the amount of posts I see asking for good vibes.
It seems more like they are trying to assure themselves that other people agree with their behavior. It seems to needy and also fake, because people are responding on request.
Like, when someone says wish me luck they arent really asking for people to stand there and go good luck!
Does this make me seem like an asshole?
I just think it demeans the value of good vibes that are not promted.
I dont understand the point of asking for someone to send you wishes - you might as well just wish it yourself!!
that said, good vibes are a nice thing. Just not when someone tells others to give them

asking for gv's is definitely fine with me. just gives you reassurance that youre going to embark on a great journey that day/night. kind of a guide into the happy place

I don't understand that at all personally. How are you going to send someone "good vibes". What you experience is based on what we all already know, set, setting, all that stuff. Maybe knowing others are wishing you well helps but from random people it does seem a little fake. But hey, if it makes someone feel better then why not I guess.

I sort of enjoy it, it gives sort of a sense of community that we all have in our tripping. Just seeing it gives you that assurance that other people understand what your about to embark on, and for some less....stable? trippers,that sense can do a hell of alot... it's something simple and nice! Hasn't the same behavior that lead you to this site taught you to appreciate the simple things that can bring a smile..... yea ...lame I'm just saying, if you don't like it,don't knock because others do!
