So i called my weed man today who i have only known for about a month (just moved) and half way through the rings i woman comes on and says "Welcome to Verizon wireless, the number you have dialed has either been disconnected or switched."
WTF? Did he get arrested or something?

i know a lot of bud dealers that change their numbers/service providers periodically to avoid possible troubles with the law... that could be it, in which case he'll probably contact you soon

They wouldn't have disconnected it if he got caught selling. They want to leave that bitch on to see who all calls in to meet him. Odds are no that he didn't pay the bill.
Cops will pay the bill if he gets arrested sometimes so they can see who all calls.
Thats how police get numbers...My number was on a "list" is what they said for quite some time. Apparently the person that sold me bud was arrested, and they wrote down every number that called.

Happens all the time, and if that were to happen I would be 1 very unhappy person. I would be likely to strangle the officer who pulled that bullshit on me.
Why not at least make it a fair game? Come catch me fuckers.
You will see it on cops, and if you know someone in with the police they will tell you that they do it all the time.
Unfortunately(kinda fortunate but not really) my sister and her husband work with the police. He does narcotics. He isn't your normal arrest every fucker that has a joint on them, but he does his job. My sister is different as well, but it pisses me off to hear them talk about who they arrested...

As far as I know no, but they can pull whatever trickery they want out of their bag. If they get you to come meet them, and you clearly say on the phone that you want a bag of so and so...They reserve the right to arrest you on attempted possession, and in other places there are laws that allow them to do other things.
Once in custody some states probably allow the officers to search the vehicle,person(normal),house, and so on without obtaining a search warrant.
Check your local laws, and know them. Cops pull some slick shit sometimes.

Had this happen to an old dealer--makes me irritated that he didn't at least give me a new number if he was just switching phones. More likely he got caught or decided to move without attracting suspicion.
Solution: amass as many numbers as you can.

Yeah man back at home i had at least 15 weed men. But i have only been living here for a month, i usually only meet dealers through friends or at parties.

There was a story not too long ago about dealers putting lead in it to make it weight more to make more money.
They have also been spraying it with bug spray.
