To be honest I was beginning to doubt in OP's last post or so that this guy actually needs medical help...
I've been here before. I didn't have anybody watching over me saying "this guy is acting weird, he needs help," but I turned out all right.
I hope the doctors don't fuck his brain up even worse.

Crazy thread. I only read pages 1 and 5 because I am gizzzzonnnneeee at the moment but yeah, that street shit is no good. The only proper way to produce E is to ejaculate into a capsule while tripping balls and dry that shit crusty. This is a true story.
But seriously, that sucks. Hope your friend comes out cool man... nobody deserves psychosis. I wouldn't worry about doctors making it worse. He obviously wasn't getting through it without them.

i recently came upon a dozen pills giving very simular effects. when i took 2 i ended up getting very confused and ive been trying to figure out what was in them since.
it took 2 hours before anything was noticeable and was much more visual than MDMA, but felt very similar. it really kicked in after 5 hours and i was tripping hard. my girlfriend was on the same dose and was feeling the same. everything moving and twisting, not as full on as mushrooms or acid but similar. at this point i felt wonderful, this lasted a good 5 hours before we crashed, felt absolutly horrid and still tripping for... oh a good 20 hours after. couldnt sleep at all. my girlfriend and i stayed up staring at the fuzzy ceiling trying to make it stop.
we were dead the next 2 days. my body was sore, i was completely out of sorts. after effects lasted a week or so. it was very shitty.
im guessing that what i got was MDA + meth. and i think 2 pills was too much. ive taken 1 pill of them and it still had a bad next day but it was much more enjoyable.
my pills were a
Yellow shooting star (Bape)
green domed pill with LaX on one side and an airplane on the other
the amp psychosis could definatly be part of it. my pills felt like they had alot of meth in them.

I know that the red stars have a lot of 2c-i in them.
Other than that I couldn't tell ya much about whats in these pills.
You should invest in an eztest kit.
They made my world of pills much safer.

College bound straight A student that did acid and X for the past year and can't hold an intelligent conversation now. She jumps topic to topic and asks questions that don't make any sense.

BAD NEWS!
He's completely out of it. This is surreal.
These events happened before he went to the hospital. He wasn't just "acting weird" as some might think... he's completely out there and needed to be admitted.
I was told that the day before, when his family was crying, he did not display any sign of emotion, and said "I don't feel anything" when asked if he had any emotions about what was going on. He couldn't add 3+4, and had long (10 sec+) pauses between what he was saying. His sentences were also broken; Not connected. Each was on a completely different topic. This was early yesterday.
Later in the day, my bro walked in and he was in his boxers on the couch, staring straight ahead (at nothing), not making a sound or move. It looked as though he had no clue anybody walked in, or that anyone was around even. He was very unresponsive and paranoid. My bro (and prob his family) tried to give him a bath to try to get him "back." He was screaming and thought he was being baptized, and that he was being drowned.
He said "they're telling me to make a decision" and when asked "who" replied "the voices." But he also said "I'm making the voices" - without going into detail, he was detached from his thoughts. He thought they were voices, but knew he was the one constructing them.
also, my brother told me that when he was talking to him, he noticed that his pupils were constantly changing size - growing and shrinking. What would cause this? There were no dimming lights nearby. He did not sleep for 3 days straight, thinking that he will die if he fell asleep. He looked awful. This is the only not-so-bad news, which gives us a little hope that most of his symptoms are due to sleep deprivation.
He refused, but was just forced to go to the ER. In the ER he was unable to speak for himself. He didn't know where he was, and kept asking who "all these people" are. He didn't know where he was. He was unable to answer basic questions. Some he just didn't know, and others he was hesitant about (i.e., who's the current president? "... I think it's george bush") and he told the nurse "I'm in a loop."
After that, my bro "translated" between him and the nurse. His entire drug history was given to the nurse, from the mushrooms he ate years ago, to the joint he smoked on the roof last month. My bro was just honest about everything the nurse asked.
He thought that everybody in the waiting room was waiting for him, and kept asking when he could "wake up." He also asked if we "ever saw ourselves in 3rd person."
There's a bunch of other little moments like that, but eventually he was put on a stretcher and was getting his vitals/stats checked. Blood sugar, temperature, blood pressure, heart beat, and etc were OK. Physically he was fine. Then he was wheeled into a room to get his blood tested. We were told no medication would be administered before they find out what's in his blood (obvious), and that was it. His mom stayed with him, but nobody else was allowed (or maybe his mom just requested that.)
This was around 10 PM last night. I just woke up and there's really no way to contact him as of now. His mom doesn't want to see us (she didn't see us in the hospital. She went from work straight into his room, but anyway).
Schizophrenia normally doesn't pass on the father's line, but his dad was psychotic. I don't know much about his dad. His parents divorced when he was young. We're all riding on the hope that this is amphetamine psychosis or something else that can be cured.
It's surreal when this happens, because you read about these train wrecks on Erowid all the time, but there's always ways to justify those reports. "She was weak-willed, an addict," or "he didn't test the pills." This gives us a sense that this can't happen to us, but it does. You guys need to be careful.

The sad thing is that I did have an EZ Test Kit. I think he knew, but probably forgot, and he told nobody he was taking anything - which I found somewhat strange. But than again, there's really no reason he should be calling up all his friends announcing what he's ingesting.
I think he was very afraid that he would lose his mind, and this created some major anxiety which seems to have snowballed. Anyone who's had a mindfuck on shrooms can probably relate to what he's going through. It's hell.

Yeah you can never be sure about these things. Sometimes it takes a while to come back from a traumatic experience. I had a friend that was out for about 6 months but finally made a full recovery. I hope your bro snaps out of it. It's always tragic to hear these stories. But kids need to know these things can happen. It's good to have a close net of friends around that can see you starting to slip and get you clean for a while. I know thats the only thing that saved a couple of my friends back in the day.

It seems much more likely that he's schizophrenic and the amphetamines set off an attack (it comes in waves). If that's the case, he'll calm down eventually. But it will happen again, and it'll keep happening for the rest of his life.

I have a friend who's dad had schizophrenia when he was young after a spiked drink incident. This friend then started abusing alcohol and smoking a lot of weed and ended up with pyschosis about two years ago. He started presenting similar symptoms to your friend. They put him on lithium and then moved onto tricyclic antidepressents. It took about a year or two for him to reach normality.

They found nothing in his system and so did not give him any meds. Ended up knocking him out (I dunno with what). He has now been asleep for awhile. They say he should be OK when he wakes up, but will be consulted by a psychiatrist. Things are looking up.

Wow what an interesting and sad story :S I didn't know ANY drug could cause that:S
¨but he may be on this stuff the rest of his life¨ (somebody said)
what does that mean? how can a drug (which is normally metabolised) effect someone permanently? and which drugs can do that? I ask because I would NOT want to go through something like that and really like to try pretty much everything and push doses as far as I can, but would hate to stay with a permanent brain ¨change¨.
Maybe a lot of people can learn from this guy's experience..
I really hope he gets better soon, keep us informed man!

It can't per se. But think about this: did taking acid for the first time change your life forever? The experiences stay with you long after the drug is metabolised. And if you have an underlying mental condition such as schizophrenia, this effect is amplified (usually in a bad way).
The drugs aren't necessarily to blame, because a schizophrenic attack could have occurred anyway - it was just a matter of when.

eh... to be honest i really don't think all people that go skitzo from psychedelics were destined for it if they stayed sober.
that opinion comes from watching a friend go skitzo and stay that way, very quickly after a couple of shortly spaced intense trips.

My girlfiend of 3 years got some pills with what i think had meth in them. They were sold as X at a concert, she also dropped a hit of lasd i had tripped on many times before and knew to be good. She, for all intensive purposes tripped for a month. On the 3rd day after i had been dealing with all of the trying to figure out was going on, I found some seroquel. I gave her this (had to trick her, untrusting) and she slept for 12hours( the duration of the pill). First time she slept in 3 days. In this time i called her parents and told them what had happened. She had very similar delusions to what you are describing. She thought she was god, chosen one etc. Kept asking me if i had enough acid so she could trip forever. We took her to the hospital where she threatened where she threatened all of the hospital staff. She had to be committed, I convinced her to sing the forms to admit herself so beign committed wouldnt affect here future( 4.0gpa junior in college). She admitted herself and they gave her antipsychotics. They released her in 3 days. For the next month, even on meds she seemed to be slowly coming down from a very very intense acid trip. She lost the though/ soeaking barrier. She couldnt help but say what her brain thought( schizophernia symptom). Its been 6 montghs now and she is almost completly back to normal. The human brain is incredibly resilient and it has altonished me to see her recovery, as i thought i had already lost her completly. I was scared. Never trust x pills, i got them from a friend. I almost lost what makes her, her. I took the same LSD she took that night repeatedly and nothign happened. My conclusion was something to do meth and lsd combination that quite literally blew her mind. Thanks for reading.

Listen Meth doesnt put you in a psychosis, at least not one that lasts longer than the drug. Neither does Acid.
Acid did NOT change me the first time I did it.
Acid DID give me a slightly different perspective on some things.
IMO anti-psychotics dont make ANYONE act like themselves.
QUIT TAKING THE DRUGS AND LEAVE THEM FOR THE PEOPLE WHO USE/ENJOY THEM IN A RESPONSIBLE MATTER.
