I would like to make a proposal.
Can we please be sure to post all finds, and have the bulk of the questions and discussions in the "Official PNW 2008-2009 Fall Hunting/finds thread"
That thread will be easier for people to refer to in the years to come. The format/title of that thread follows the traditional style of annual PNW hunting/finds thread. This thread does not specify date, is somewhat broad and gears specifically to cyanescens. Be aware, I am in no way knocking this thread, I just want to make sure that the "Official" thread holds more wieght and content for future reference. You guys understand...
Thanks

Actually that's a great idea. It would also clear up all this clutter and replace it with pictures and finds.

theres been talk of cleaning up and organizing threads, but its too much work to moderators. curecat wanted to do that in the past for a few threads, especially the ones where auweia and tahoe go at it for 6 pages, makes for more drama than finds!
we basically moved everything from this thread to the other though, via me quoting everyone who posted their finds here,
and yeah its kind of a tradition to label the thread like hooper said, as a way of marking each season for future reference.
the official thread is usually stickied too.. its just that its so early in the season still
i however think as soon as acro and psilygirl post their huge flushes, then it should be stickied.
which should either be NOW or SOON.

The hunting forum mods have decided not to sticky official season threads because most people don't read the stickies as they show up by the rules instead of with the other threads.
As long as the seasons are in effect these threads should be bumped often enough to keep them near the top.

Yeah a few people have found stuff in seattle. Its at sea-level by the water so there is more moisture, you must not be looking hard enough!

the trip was and extreme body high though with mild visuals... just looked like i was lookin through a fisheye lense :[ is that normal with cyans? ohh i saw quarentine trippin to. freakin awesome

I ate 17 fresh grams of cyans a few days ago and I didn't mind the taste at all. From what I read about mushrooms previously, I was expecting something absolutely disgusting.
And ditto about the extreme body high and mild visuals for me too. I need to do more.

are they more potent dried compared to wet? Other than weight and how much you need to eat?
