cod4, gears of war, gta4 imo.

My favorites are Bioshock, GTA4 and Flatout.

The two first are widely acclaimed, but download the demo for Flatout if you can, some people hate it but I fucking love it.

Gears of War
Halo 3 (Tho I personally hate it)
Project Gotham 3 and 4
Fight Night Round 3
Kameo (it was decent)
Quake IV

I have soul calibur 4 for ps3, and it's out for both systems. Definitely pick it up if your into fighting games.

Get skate (all time fav), Dead Rising (classic), Braid (in Arcade, indie).

Get Oblivion too if you are into RPG's, it is ultimate and will keep you playing for a very long time.

Yeah Oblivion was a great game. It has some good downloadable content too that will keep you busy.

-Gears of War: To prepare for Gears 2.
-Call of Duty 4: If you can only get ONE game get this one! It's like playing through an intense war movie. And the online play is by far the best available.
-Mass Effect: A great space RPG. One of the best RPG's I've played.
