I think thats beautiful that they started chanting "fuck Fox news." Yes, its immature, but when you think about it, why on earth would a crowd of demonstrators rally against a news reporting company? Isn't that like shooting the messenger? In a perfect world, yes it would be, but in this instance, Fox news has been vocally and disgracefully outed as the partisan shills that they are. I mean, if that doesn't reveal how skewed their reporting really is, what does?
Not only that, but this is comeuppance for Rush Limbaugh and all his faggot friends when they start spewing their bullshit about the "liberal media." I believe in divine justice, and I believe the day will come when every one of these motherfuckers will get exactly what they deserve.

Keep in mind only one person or a small group of people actually own property being aggressed against, many people see the events as onlookers and it can be a huge component of actually bringing people out from the woodwork.
Arguably though the result is polarization around the issue though, For example in all of those examples, the minutemen/al queda/ELF suffered a huge backlash from their respective opponents and polarizing attitudes occurred on each side. For example 9/11 encouraged both radical Muslims and the concept of suicide attackers was reinforced (a huge issue since suicide is technically a sin in Islam). Then there was the polarization toward the other way from the world represented by people's endorsement and belief in a "war on terror." In the end the event has exposed the grievances of the Muslim population and arguably changed the way the west looks at it's position in the middle east. I think that I may have cited too many recent examples but I do believe history will vindicate me (as happens often) that 9/11 and ELF actions will eventually lead to a change in society's perceptions of managing Islamic states and pollution.

You don't own the clothes on your back? Please, lets keep it real. I don't know a single person, even the homeless bum on the street, that doesn't own property.

to be fair it was supposed to read agressed but read aggressors because of a spell check mistake. It's possible he misunderstood.

True, but I have had a few debates with seus and I have good faith that he wouldn't intentionally quote me out of context.

Their behavior is certainly childish. To me, when you are trying to make a serious statement, acting like a spoiled two year old is fairly idiotic as it does nothing to help your cause and instead makes you look like... well, like a spoiled two year old.
I agree. That was pathetic. Why couldn't they have calmly spoke about factual things, like the U.S. government outspending the rest of the world combined on instruments of death & destruction (& out-exporting the next several nations combined, mostly to governments with horrible human rights records), or how two-thirds of the world's population lives in poverty? They just look (& may very well be) stupid & irrational, the same thing that I find humorous in the religious right.
-------------------- "I did not know then how much was ended. When I look back now from this high hill of my old age, I can still see the butchered women and children lying heaped and scattered all along the crooked gulch as plain as when I saw them with eyes still young. And I can see that something else died there in the bloody mud, and was buried in the blizzard. A people's dream died there. It was a beautiful dream.
And I, to whom so great a vision was given in my youth; you see me now a pitiful old man who has done nothing, for the nation's hoop is broken and scattered. There is no center any longer, and the sacred tree is dead."

I'm sure if they had enough time to considder it that would be their answer but with the crowd moving behind them and the journalist running arround spouting whatever assinine question came to mind I'm not too surprized he got those answers. Plus, like I said nobody will give fox a long answer if any words at all because they will pull a seus.

To be honest, that was where I quit reading. I saw the claim that only a few people own property and immediately dismissed the rest of your statement as not worth reading. Apologies. Going back and re-reading, I realize that the rest of your statement, which I ignored, qualified the part that I quoted.

The display is on a grassy knoll on public property on a Denver mountain overlooking the Democrat National Convention.

In my town there is a pile of sticks on a hill that constantly gets rearranged to say things like "Penis" or "Grad ##" and stuff like that, so I'm somewhat unimpressed by the originality of this idea.
