Harvest will probably be tonight or early tomorrow morning. The veils are starting to stretch thin. I'll take pictures before harvest and after. I wish I had a little bit of my agar mixed up, cause I think I may wanna clone one of these beauties while at the same time adding to my repertoire of mycology skillz...but hey...I'll have another flush and will be more prepared then! yeah!
None the less, I'll take a few prints...
BTW...I have another 4pts of TX that I spawned to Hpoo last Sunday, the 17th of Aug, and it is ripping the hpoo up. I think for experimental purposes, I will case the Texans to see what differences I will discover.

you can put together an LC clone kit pretty quick just get the LC mixture sterilized and a syringe loaded with sterile water.

yea but you should note you do not need a baby bottle you could do it with another style of LC container, the jars and lids in agar's sig on that page are good examples of alt LC container designs. Have you ever done an LC?

ScavengerType, yes, I have two tested LC's going right now. One from spore print...this Texas batch I am highlighting in this grow, and I had an extra pint jar of GT also highlighted in this post, so I aspirated sterile water from one jar into my spawn, then back to the original source of sterile water, making for tons of LC.
Just haven't done it with fresh tissue. I have just the jars for an LC too...those decorative wide mouth pt jars...here they are...
Plus have injector ports already made up + a new/used 921 + distilled water + honey or whatever else I need...so...I could be ready to go pretty quick. This is a domesticated wild texas variety and I may want to preserve this exact strain, but need to read more on the advanced mycology for strain stabilization...bla bla bla...

No Prob on the link I currently use the baby bottle tek and I also use te grain lc tek by agar.. I am gona start using agar soon though when I get some extra money.. I am gone go ahead and buy some PDA from mycosupply instead of making the agar myself.. Just saves time and hassle.. Considering it would be my first agar attempt, don't want to f it up to bad.. So I'll buy it and just add water..
I used leftover MS in my LC'S, that way I didn't waste any, but I plan on isolating a strain on some nice shrooms once I get paid and my current grow starts to fruit. I'll am gona take a direct tissue clone from the stalk's..

You may have taken me the wrong way...the link is great...and great for me to have referenced in this grow! Thanks a bunch! On this tek in particular, it seems to be for MS or LC and not tissue.
Quick before bed update, some of the veils are starting to tear. They are looking so magical, that I just took a bunch of shots and wanted to share.

3 or 4 of the larger fruits are opening up (Sunday morning..day 14) on the texans, but aren't dropping spores yet. At the first sign of spore droppage, I think I will carefully pluck those, trying to leave the others unscathed.
Sound like a plan? This is my first bulk harvest and I've heard harvest all at the same time....thoughts on this? thanks!

Shrooms are almost dry, but not quite...I'll give you folks the dry weight tonight on the TX harvest.
