10 grand in your area, around me they go 35 an eighth. 200 an oz, about 800 or more for a qp, and about 2grand (ive heard even much higher) a pound.  So 20,000 sold in pounds at 2000 a pound and 44,800 in eighths for 35.

thats insane.

As I've said before on this forum, I look at every unjust arrest as an opportunity for change.  This is how this man must face the system.  Only a brilliant protagonist will overthrow the obvious injustices at hand.

I like the idea of evenly distributed drug possession. Drugs should be kept in information channels as much as possible and in economic channels as little IMO.

Update ...

Man sentenced to 7 years for having illegal mushrooms
February 4, 2009 - poststar.com

BALLSTON SPA – A 33-year-old man who was arrested in June in Wilton with 10 pounds of hallucinogenic mushrooms was sentenced to 7 years in state prison Wednesday in Saratoga County Court.

Michael Shecter, of Mt. Vision (Otsego County), was arrested June 5 at 25 Highgate Drive in Wilton following an investigation by Saratoga Springs police and the U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency’s local drug task force.

He pleaded guilty to one count of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a felony, on Oct. 10.

7 years in prison is an outrageous sentence for a victimless crime, especially when taken in the context of a man getting only probation for leaving his newborn baby in a garbage bag and dumping it in someone's yard. He said he wouldn't do it again. :mad2:

If I was a defense attorney i'd cite that case:

"In conclusion, ladies and gentlemen of the jury, i have to ask you what is worse to have in a plastic bag when you are running from the police; 10 pounds of mushrooms or 10 pounds of baby? because if it were a live, human baby, in the plastic bag this man would get a slap on the wrist. But when it is dead, dried fungal matter, this man may get 7 years in prison. Consider that when you deliberate. Thank you"

I propose that the mushrooms were not even hallucinogenic, let me eat some and I will determine what they are.:shroomer:

To be honost I couldn't live with my self after putting someone away for that long and ruining their life, for a crime that would have hurt no one.

I guess its all in a days work for those people.

Sure makes me feel safe that they are putting these bad bad men away for years when we have people committing crimes against other people getting away with less.
