Not on the shroomery but another drug related forum...
I said that I marquis tested some MDMA and it turned up as speed. I suspected methampetamine because of its effects.
The mod threatened to ban me for spreading misinformation and called it "bullshit". Saying that meth is "never sold as MDMA". I quickly pointed him to that XTCdata site where they GC/GS pills which proves that wrong.
WTF though man, this is just a rant I spose. Why the fuck would you threaten to ban someone for speaking the truth. The only motivation I can think of is ignorance or he himself is selling meth as MDMA.

It's possible but very unlikely speed is ever sold as mdma. Anyone who's ever done ecstasy or mdma powder knows the distinct taste of it, aside from coke I would have to say mdma is the next easiest drug to verify just by a taste test.
So if someone was selling speed as molly then they are:
A - Selling to newbs who haven't ever tried mdma or speed before. Having done both I could definately tell the difference if someone pulled the 'ol switcheroo on me but if I had done neither then I probably wouldn't know.
B - Trying to fuck some people over and they would get their ass kicked very soon. I would be fucking pissed if that happened to me.

speed(amphetamines) is hardly sold as mdma
however methampetamines is very commonly sold as a mixure with mdma
i test pills all the time i no very much about this area

yeah, i have been sold speed as mdma at a rave before. i never saw the guy again to kick his ass, neither did anyone else. he made probably about a grand that night, judging from the line that formed.
speed is most certainly sold as x.
or the more common thing that has happened where a pill is maybe 5% mdma, 45% speed, and 50% filler. it still feels like straight speed, but if you take like 5 of them you might roll a bit.
