I wont get into conspiracy theories because they are beaten like a dead horse around here. And lets be honest with eachother, none of us know what is going to happen and to sit around fear-mongering is counter-productive.
However, on subject, I did watch Obama's speech in Berlin and it did sound somewhat scary the way he openly discussed his plans for a new world order. He didnt use that exact wording but thats how it struck me. And I was previously an Obama supporter

That was in the last election, for his second term. The strange thing is that even if he didn't rig the vote (which he certainly did, in some places anyway) he still would have won the election. So he probably did it just as a display of power.
It's much more appropriate to make an analogy between Putin and the Tsars, rather than Stalin. Check out Time's headline when they made him man of the year:
