I've thought about this on occasion, and I would guess there are very few if any LEO on this site. Some of the factors I thought about include:
-Magic mushrooms are pretty far down the DEA's priority list. They may even be last in the schedule one category. You can kind of gauge it by browsing their site, you'll notice that they hardly mention shrooms other than occasionally in their microgram newsletter. They're much more concerned with LSD and ecstasy, so they may be interested in the shroomery for that.
-Any monitoring of this site would likely be done by the use of paid informants or volunteer work of "do-gooders." Federal agents get paid pretty good money (at least $75,000 per year I think). They're not going to pay these guys that kind of money to surf the net trolling for leads.
-Yes, there is data-mining, but I highly doubt it is is being used to track down lesser criminals. They would not want to jeopardize this tool legally to bust some college student growing shrooms under his bed. I think if you're running tonnage of yeo, you would likely be subject to computer forensics, but how many upper eschelon traffickers post here? I think how they would do a bust through here is use the informant and have him try to befriend you and get you to reveal contact information under some guise. So be careful who you communicate with and how. Be especially wary of FEMALES (sorry ladies, but its a common tactic).
Of course, its all just speculation

first off they have no reason to monitor this sight to learn how to spot grows becuase they have mushroom labs and hydro systems set up in their training ceter in virginia so they can be tuaght by their own people what to look for.
The thing I would be worried about is "trap and traces" and just plain seizing the server so they can get everyones ISP off it and then they'll just kick your door down. so if the server is secure then we are secure.
I was already in prison for growing weed and psyli's when they busted OverGrow so I didn't get cuaght up in that but I was OverGrow's very first "Grower of the Month" (never did get my seed packs, oh well) They seized that server and showed up at a few people doors.
The bottom line is this: most of what this site and countless others are about is illegal substances. We take the risk to grow and use them becuase it is important to us and our friends and loved ones. You can be cuatious but paranoia is destructive. It chages your mood and those vibes get into everything around us. If your constantly afraid then that fear will rub off into everything you do. Do you fear rubbing off on your shrooms or ganga plants or what ever entheogen you have. I doubt it. Ity also affects your relationship with people and your work. Do not let fear contaminate your peace.

All the shrooms in my sig, posts, and gallery are for educational purposes only. It would kill me too know sum young kid ate sum "bad" mushrooms and they tripped, oh god that would be horrible. so i post about shrooms all the time too warn others of there "dangers" and too help others identify them so they dont "lose there minds". We all know what these horrible fungi can do, spawned from the pit of hell too ruin our lives so like i said im here too educate others about there dangers.

They may have been here in a few isolated incidents but I think for the most part cops are worried about more dangerous drugs.

Yeah it's not like we're discussing how we're going to get the next shipment of heroin past the coast guard. They're not going to get any major stings by lurking here.
If they want to catch minor drug users they could just wander the streets on a saturday night and collect more than they could by watching this site for weeks.
