The great actors of our time

Me and my girl are having a psilocybin/whisky fueled discussion about the great actors of our time. We are having a difficult time thinking about more actors that are great beyond just learning their lines, as well as having the right mannerisms; the actors that can bring a character to life.

This is what we have:
(in no particular order of course)

Phillip Seymour Hoffman
Val Kilmer
Guy Pearce
Gary Oldman
Kevin Spacey
Daniel Day-Lewis
Gary Sinise
Peter O'Toole

Honerable Mentions:
Ewan McGreggor
Johnny Depp
Brad Pitt
Joaquin Phoenix
Cate Blanchett
Alan Rickman

Cate is the only female actors we can think of, and possibly
Julianne Moore.

i disagree with some of the names mentioned, but thats ok...

you know who i think is a great actor, probably my favorite actor, very underrated, john turturro. fantastically expressive

what does 'our time' mean? like anyone who is alive now? or someone of a younger generation? cause no ones said robert deniro or al pacino, theyr pretty old, but i think everyone would agree that theyr great

of the younger folks id have to say ed norton. american history x alone would earn him a spot on my list

im sure theres a ton of other great actors i love, but i just got off working a 10 hour shift and im smoking a blunt, so my thinkings not too sharp
