Yeah, that's right mofos. If you keep or hunt reptiles or amphibians (better known as herps), post your pictures of them. Arachnids also qualify for this thread.
I've loved these animals since I was a child. Not sure how I got into them, but it works for me. If I go hiking, you'll always see me flipping over logs and rocks just to see what's hiding under them.
Lets see some pictures!
Here's my contributions:
My bad ass Pyxie Frog, Pierre. They're also known as African Bullfrogs.
I used to have a pet copperhead. Saved him from getting run over by a car on a dirt road in GA. I think my ex named him Stalin (he was pretty evil).

And just for the hell of it, here are some random pics of herps(no not herpes, you pervs) that I have found:
Baby toad:

Small Ringneck Snake:

Box Turtle:

Unknown salamander, perhaps Redback:

Another Copperhead that showed up in a neighbor's yard:

6 foot Black Racer or Black Ratsnake:

A bite wound from said black snake:

Yet another Copperhead that I found:

And, lastly, some spider pics for the arachnid lovers out there:

I used to have two rose haired tarantulas, but that was a long time ago. And a friend and I raised rats, and other various lizards.
Too bad no pics

I got an Usumbra Tarantula you can have then, this fucker is way too mean to keep and hurts like hell when it bits. It chased me across the room just a few days ago when I was feeding it...Baboon family, too fucking mean..
I love Pac Man frogs and have had several. Ill get another but since ones already posted you know what they look like
Tokays are also too mean...got rid of mine American Alligator
Had to donate to Henry Doorley zoo, just too much too consider...but if I had a farm id make a nice set up for one because their so cool...
I dont like a lot of commercial herps like iguanas etc...I knew a chick who lost a cheek from an Ig she had for 11 years...I like docile snakes lizards and spiders also I love frogs something about them intrigues me...but fish and fish tanks are my forte. I like the aggressive ones though that eat other fish because I dont hold them, but aggressive herps suck...
Nice collection though bro...

I'm in the Okanagan, south central BC, basically the same as northwestern Washington state. the rattler is a pacific rattler, the other is a great basin gopher.
there are two other species or rattlers in Canada, the prairie rattlesnake, and the Mississauga, Timber rattlers used to be found in Ontario as well.
i frequently encounter skinks here, theres also rubber boas and alligator lizards. we used to have pygmy horned lizards, theres still a species or horned lizard in southern Alberta and Saskatchewan

I was going to post it earlier but thought it would provoke drama, but I fed my pac man frog lots of found dying animals, among them were a small kitten almost dead, a small deformed puppy and believe it or not I let the frog out in my grass one day and a small baby hawk swooped down to grab my fucking frog, but that only lasted for a second, bye bye baby hawk, I was told it was a night hawk one of the smallest but that fucking frog ate the fucker....

Awesome thread! I love seeing the different stuff you guys are posting. I'll upload some more when I get around to finding them, but here are a few for starters:

PICARD: When I realized the paradox...
Q: Exactly. For that one fraction of a second, you were open to options you'd never considered. That's the exploration that awaits you...not mapping stars and studying nebulae... but charting the unknowable possibilities of existence.

i paid 2g for the pair which was a little above market but i wanted to make sure i got quality specimens. they are both beautiful. the female is really shy but the albino male cruises around nonstop when i take him out. here's a couple of pics i just took. note my new desktop from this thread.

heres a pic of bud, a very confident smooth green tree snake that used to keep me company when it was hungry, spent most of its days sleeping on our veranda eating bugs and snails we'd leave for it, eventually we moved, would of loved to take it with me but we moved away from the bush
i also had 2 juveniles, my cat brought them to me hes a gentle cat but he did manage to do some damage so i kept them for a few weeks, fed on snails and crickets they were so cute, would of been great to keep them longer but they belong in the wild.. wonder how they're doing

Those giant skull casques make a lot of veileds look really silly to me but your chameleon is badass. There are reptile expos once a month around me and I've been thinking about picking up a Panther next time around.
Is the foliage in that 3rd pic fake? I've never had a chameleon and I like maintaining plants for my pets but fake plants around them has pretty much been the consensus.

Q: Exactly. For that one fraction of a second, you were open to options you'd never considered. That's the exploration that awaits you...not mapping stars and studying nebulae... but charting the unknowable possibilities of existence.

I used to breed snakes and house many reptiles, etc.
3 western hognoses 2 pastel ball pythons 1 awesome snapping turtle 1 whites tree frog 2 bearded dragons 1 map turtle 2 red eared sliders 1 eastern redbelly
That is all, lost them all (except the turtles) in a freak accident involving a blizzard, a week long vacation, and failed heating

Eh, old post but why not revive it?
That grey treefrog is awesome. They are really cool animals. They used to hang out all over the deck at my parents house. Once they pick a spot they like they will stay there all summer long. They go out exploring for food at night and come back to their safe spot to sleep during the day.
They're pretty smart actually. When it would get cold outside we'd find them hanging out around the fringes of my friend's hot tub cover.
