I need to get some sleeping pills but the doc is expensive.
What do you guys use? I was thinking of scouring the internet for some generic ambien for short term quick sleep schedule fix.
I have those OTC sleeping pills but they kinda suck.

I was prescribe trazadone a while back but it barely works unless I take 2-3 times the dose. Then I am out like a rock.
Also the doctors around here hand that shit out like it is candy because it is supposedly "non-habit-forming"....

Unisom every Sunday, helps after the waked weekend schedule. Just make sure it has Doxylamine succinate in it.

Walk in tell him you are having problems sleeping, wake up dozens of times at night, 'never' get tired, etc....

Stay away from prescription sleeping pills, trust me.
Stick to OTC stuff like diphen or use some vitamin THC

when i first smoked or used cannabis, i used to get really tired from it.
Now when i smoke, i don't get tired at all but energy. I always want to do something when i use THC.
Sigh.. I am doomed.

Ok? Not to try to start anything but diphenhydramine is an antihistamine meant to stop runny noses and shit.... How is it supposed to help you sleep?

Sure. But they're pretty much just pills with 25mg pure diphenhydramine in them, nothing else. They work mighty fine I might add. I don't know what other stuff benadryl has in there.

"It is known that diphenhydramine has sedative properties. Many new antihistamines have been introduced without the side effect of sedation. The drug is also used as a sleep aid and is an ingredient in many sleep aids, such as Unisom gelcaps (however, the tablet form of Unisom contains Doxylamine, a different active ingredient[4]), and most notably Tylenol PM where it is combined with acetaminophen (paracetamol), and Nytol and Sominex which have diphenhydramine as the only active ingredient. Several generic and store brands of antihistamines and sleep aids also contain solely diphenhydramine, such as Tylenol Simply Sleep."

Yep, it's a good way for them to make 10x the profit off of something that's extremely cheap in generic form.
I just get a big bottle of 400 generic walgreen brand Benadryl for like $8. Instead of 24 for $6. Same stuff, way less expensive.

I would advise against continued usage of pharmaceutical sleeping pills, or for that matter even OTC products containing diphenhydramine. Try some melatonin with B6, valerian root, and tryptophan if you're looking to get your sleep cycles back and adjusted.
That being said, the root cause of most insomnia is an inconsistent sleeping schedule. Going to bed at different times every day, staying up all night on the weekends, and sleeping in only on select days is a sure-fire way to screw up your body's natural sleeping pattern.
