Biron stepped up, 36 saves on 38 shots.
Flyers had huge first period, were able to hold on. Still ALOT of work to do, but Philly still has a pulse.
Fights at the end!!! Hatcher unloaded on Malone and nailed some powerful punches. Malone won the first portion, but overall gotta give the W to Hatch.
I think its bullshit that the refs broke up the potential Richards/Crosby fight!! Protecting the kid is crap, let them square off. Richards was foaming at the mouth! would have injured Sid

i too would like to see cros or malkin in a fight...never happens though.

Lets get some chatter going!
FLYERS!!!!
I despise all things Pittsburgh, but I will be the first to tell you that the Pens are dangerous and obviously deserving of the #1 seed.
Anyway, after last game i think the Flyers may have made a case that the next game is winnable. Granted, Mellon Arena is dangerous territory, but i think the Flyers are riding momentum stemming from A) Hatcher over Malone fight and the Richards/Crosby scrap and B) Return of Kimmo Timmonen, a premiere defenseman and leader of the Flyers power play.
It will be a morale boost, and if they start the next game like they did in game 4 its a feasible situation.
Its going to be a great game! I'm excited to watch

i watched the hatcher malone fight on hockey fights....malone got wipped
i actually get to watch this one tonight. malkin wasnt on his game and hossa is getting stronger and stronger as time goes on with the team. tonight will be the last game of the series  its mellon arena baby...you cant stop it! young bucks will seal the deal tonight. 
i hope laraque or ruutu pounds on someone tonight. i have a feeling the game will get pretty edgy.
but how about dallas loosening that stranglehold!!! there is no team i dislike more than the wings (in hockey) i despise the vikings a little more 
bet? +5 to the winner

I'm with you. Fuck the wings. I'm rooting for PIT to win it all, if Dallas gets knocked out, which is most likely to happen.

No I'm a player fan really, I just don't like anyone on the wings except Nick Lindstrom. The rest of the team is a bunch of faggots.
I like pit better, because I'm a big fan of most of the people they have on their team. I was pissed when Hossa ended up there though, I wanted him to come to dallas

all the deadline pickups the pens got have made a huge difference. i didnt really like that they were trading armstrong, but its obviously paid off.

The Wings fans have about the least fair weather fans I've ever seen, just short of fans of teams like the Steelers or Yankees.
I've been a fan of them since I was about 7. It helps that they haven't been bad since I've remembered.
