Unless the flames pull a big upset, looks like the Aves are facing the Wings.

Bring it on, I say. Too bad it's not the same as in 1996-2000.

Wow, flames pulled their first upset. Can they do it again?!
Is Detroit really as good as their pre-season (playoffs are the real season) numbers show? They picked up a ton of points from the crappy teams in their division (St. Louis, Chicago, Columbus). Other teams, except for Washington, didn't really have this gift. How much did these 'free' points help inflate detroit?

Yeah Detroit is amazing, they played the Blues (stfu we use to good before we traded Pronger and gave up Demitra) alot this year and every game I found myself really impressed by their team. Zetterberg and Datsyuk make it happen.

The very first hockey game I ever watched was live at the Kiel Center. I'm not a huge Blues fan, but they will always hold a special place for me as they were the team that got me hooked on Hockey.
> Yeah Detroit is amazing
I'm not saying they aren't really good... but I think their season total in points is a bit high (ten points or so) due to the overall weakness of their division. Because of their division, Detroit played more regular season games against weaker teams that most other teams in the league. Although they will would have done well, I don't think Detroit would have won the Presidents Trophy if they were in a more balanced division, such as the Northwest or Northeast.

That very well could be a possibility, with the Colorado having Forsberg and Foote back (why in the fuck did they ever trade them to begin with?). Colorado's arsenal is just about where it was when the went to the Cup a few years ago. Sakic is showing signs of slowing down (like Brendan Shanahan did after he left Detroit).
My bets are that Detroit will pull a upset and face Montreal in the Finals. Thats not want to happen but thats what I think will happen.

The Blues are my team, this is for two reasons:
1. I live in Mid Missouri and I only have basic cable (so no versus, just Fox MidWest) so I dont get to watch anyother teams besides the ones that play the Blues.
2. The Blues are the team that got me into hockey, I remember when I was 10 or 11 and my dad won tickets to go see a Blues game, and they were playing against Colorado. This was when the Blues were still making the playoffs every year.
man I wish I still played hockey

Brutal Flyers loss last night to the Habs...
Flyers blew a 3-2 lead with 30 seconds to go, then gave up the winner in OT ...that was the 2nd blown lead of the game. They were also up 2-1

I would describe it as a glorious Habs win rather than a brutal Flyers loss.

C'mon Rangers! I wish I had cable so I could see this game. Hockey on the radio is a no go.
