Like RR said, poo doesn't need to be pastuerized to work effectively. Try the same compost/poo without doing anything the dishwasher pastuerization as a control and I'll bet you get the same results.

Won't work. The Hpoo compost has cotton mold growing on it in the barrel. The dishwasher temps were able to kill that off.---I guess I shouldn't be pushing this as "the" way to go. It works for me. I have 3 55gallon barrels of composted Hpoo to work with also, so if I screw some up it's pretty easy to trash it and start over. But as of right now I'm gonna' use it every time I shovel out some poo.

You sure that's not fire fang? Truly composted poo shouldn't have mold growing on it unless it's being stored wet.
