I can't get my muppet smiley to show up in my own personal smiley panel regardless how much I seem to use it

I'm thinking someone in charge needs to test this one out and make a throw-away thread with 10,000 muppet graemilns in it just to see if it'll come up for them...cause I seriously think there's some sort of problem here (especially considering I just made a similar thread of my own in 'Anything Goes' just recently here, and smileys that I never use were popping up after only a coupla dozen times / while muppet didn't show up even after a couple hundred)
and I can't imagine this would be the case for JUST ME and nobody else

Half the time, when I'm trying to find just the perfect smiley, I come across them for everything else, except the one I need, even though I see them in threads everywhere.
Maybe the panel needs better organization?

nah dude...I think you mis-understood what I was saying
whenever you go to 'quick reply' there is an assortment of useful functions just about the box where you type - the little smile2 smiley that opens yer personal smiley panel is one of em
...now...
in order to get to the complete list of smileys from there - you have to click on the little 'More Smileys' hyperlink at the bottom (which is what you're talking about) *I'm* referring to the mini-panel that initially opens before you havta go out of your way to get to the pop-up that comes with the complete set
this is the 'personal smiley menu' I'm referring to
(it's a handy little feature that lists the smileys you, personally, use most often...for quick reference, you know)
and what I'm whining about here is that my muppet smiley ---> 
doesn't show up in the initial personal gremlin box
(meaning I either have to type it out by hand, or I have to go to the complete list and scrounge it that way)
what I'm thinking though, is that because this one used to have a different name, then *maybe* the favorite smiley pannel isn't picking it up because the new name isn't part of the database that that piece of code goes by...maybe
in fact - I'm about to go test this theory out with another smiley I know for a fact used to have a different name too, just to see if that's the case

But don't the most recently-used smileys show up underneath the short list of default ones?
There's even a link somewhere to clear the most-recent list and start fresh.
But yeah - there should be a way to custom the default list at the very top.

oh...they do
but smileys that have had their names changed don't appear under that list no matter how many times you use em ---> as tested here

I'm beginning to wonder if using the old name enough times (regardless if it still has an emoticon attached to it or no) would result in it showing up with the new name, or if that would just result in it popping up with the previous smiley title in text instead?

Fill out a Support Ticket and address it to the Smiley Master.
Make it as ULTRA-URGENT.

Although it is a great idea, I'm sure our busy admins have much better things to work on, like

I'm pretty sure he's gonna make everyone start all over from scratch
that way they won't have to transfer over so many thousand accounts that have long since been abandoned anyway, ya know

Not that it's ever happened to me, of course, just that a fresh start would be a welcome change.
