However, I don't think it has lost all credibility. Scripture teaches thqat God cursed this earth, and told man he would have to work by the sweat of his brow. Man has continually been forced to use his ingenuity and hard labor to cultivate food and survive.

From this perspective it helps illuminate the reality that many aspects of nature have been modified and adapted for human use. It is really quite remarkable how natural things can be so quickly modified, and be so convenient.
I's really at this point that I must say although Comforts arguement does not adress these and other technical difficulties and other issues, I think that the critical perspective shown in this thread is simlistic and narrow minded. genetic strains of fruits and vegetables or animals do not "evolve" over thousands of years. Anyone who knows biology knows that the information is pre-existent in the banana, the fish, the dog, the tree etc. , although there are many mutations that have accumulated over the years and I know for humans these do not (normally) show up because our dna has a way of overlapping faulty dna with good dna, the moms the fathers, and the fathers the mothers. But seeing how plants and animals have become domesticated from wild strains is really incredible, even from the perspective that they were developed over many years. I think it's definitely a testament to our creator and just as it says in genesis.

I'm sorry the op posted something by ray comfort. You probably havn't ever heard any of his sermons, but he a is an entertainer and salesman that acts foolishly, and the fact he gets together with kirk cameron, who featured in the horribly innacurate fairy tale "left behind" movie series after the book series of their portrayal of the biblical "apocalypse".
