at least you've had enough rain. in my little corner of the bay down here it got just wet enough for just a duration to start the fruitings off and imediately abort them as it dried out. i'm still waiting for things to get interesting. i will also be scouting some new sprinkler irrigated habitat.
my first non dry-pin cyan find this season minus the almost healthy specimen i lost allong my way home:

i would have left the lot of them but i had forgotten my camera and wanted a testament to the occasion an unimpressive first find for the season but it is always a grace to see them growing.
[edit: after the auto resizing the pics are terrible.]

Along a path I walk this night, clear to no other eyes than mine.
In faerie circles perchance I might, hope Elven honey bread to find.
Over stream and tangled root I leap, o'er bough and slumbering badger's keep.
Under hoary oak and willow I bound, to find such groves as can be found,
the sating mushrooms; spring's delight, as gifts from figures of the night.

Tahoe, those are really cool looking. I'll be curious to see how big they get/what they look like in a few days...
It's real dry out there this year, I had my first finds on 11/6 last year. Doesn't look like much to celebrate for Thanksgiving unless things change quickly.

MSSF just posted this a couple weeks ago.
It's the annual death cap warning
might be good to get the paper version and scan it. I've seen it before and it's in a number of languages, especially south east asian languages. And of course, Spanish should be included after what happened last year
