u are wrong once again. stop spreading misinformation!!!
people work on averages, on average bridgesii IS the most potent.

did u even realise that the backberg clone of "t. pahanoi" is thought by many to be more akin to t. bridgesii than it is to t. pachanoi, hence is higher than usual mesc content compared to the "real" t. pachanoi of peru and ecuador?

But is that not due (at least in part) to its abundence of chemicals other than mescaline?

We might have to take this to the nook....

First of all, as satisfying as it may be to some, burning Teo isn't going to heal or help anything.

And that's exactly what they are.  Opinions.  And averages are just that, averages.  People work with them all the time because it only makes sense to do so but they certainly don't hold true 100% of the time.  Bridgesii is said by most people to be the most powerful of Trichocereus, and it is also thought by many to contain other chemicals besides mescaline, possibly an MAOI, that makes it stronger and different experience-wise.  But of course that is just a thought held by some people, not a proven fact.  I bet there are some bridgesii and blue peruvianus that are pretty weak, and I bet there are some South American pachanoi and possibly cuzcoensis that have a ridiculously strong alkaloidal makeup.  The plant world isn't bound by the words we say and the rules we try to put over them.  They just do their own thing.

While there may be many trends, there are very few solid rules.  Try to remember this while learning and researching.

That's what I was refering to...

And stating my opinion that T.peruvianus is the best for MESCALINE.

Good post, thanks.

Teo - I thought you were perma'd?

Royer - As far as the "other" chems in bridge, anything dangerous or worth worrying about?

you should just grow some of each. Also i suggest a Lophophora Diffusa (its legal besides in california) It doesnt contain mescaline but is a beautiful specimen and i wouldnt suggest growing peyote for mescaline anyways. Also, san pedro can be just as potent as any other type of trichocereus.. mainly because san pedro is a general term given to a variety of trichocereus species... it can be upwards to 30 different type/hybrids of cactus and you never know when you are getting a pure pachanoi. and teo.. i missed you from the forums while you were gone and now i dont.. GTFO
