whoa whoa whoa... i never once said he was innocent, i said i was waiting until the facts come out.
he's getting ready to take a plea, but its also a common sense plea.. if he accepts a plea now he will get 12-18 months, if he doesnt and he wishes to go to trial, then the feds will bring up more charges in the superceding indictment.
it's looking inevitable that Vick will do jail time and miss atleast the entire 2007-2008 season.

i would to, but that rarely happens.. the feds want to protect their snitches.. if Vick went to trial that would force the feds to call those snitches as witnesses.

im glad sucking someones dick is the same as saying everyone deserves a fair trial and everyone is innocent until proven guilty.
his friends didnt roll over and take plea agreements until like last week, so dont use that in your agrument.
and im glad you consider a federal indictment to be fact.

they just got their deal last week... but it had been leaked a while ago that his friends were saying he was involved... an he'll get a fair trial.(if it comes to that, prolly wont) .. hes fucking rich, le derr ... although those ideals are true.. in this particular case, it appered pretty much closed and shut.. not alot of ambiguity.. if it were like that.. i wouldnt have said anything

i just think every American, regardless of your crime should be entitled the ability to defend themselves.. thats all i said regarding the Vick case.. well i did also hope that his involvement wasnt as great as they said, but i think we all.. mainly for the sake of the animals, were hoping it wasnt as bad as big brother made it seem.
Yes he is getting to defend himself, but a lot of people passed judgement as soon as the indictment was handed down.
yes, now i see that it is more and more clear that he is guilty, but i still people deserve that wait until all the facts start to become clear.

Assuming he ends up in prison for this, would he be able to play once he gets out? Would any team take him? What happens to his contract if he goes to prison? For that matter, what happens to the Falcons (in terms of salary cap, replacement, etc)?

It's reported now that the Falcons and Arthur Blank will more than likely straight up cut Vick from the roster.
he will go to prison, he has accepted the plea agreement and will sign it next monday (according to reports)
It's going to be up to Roger Goodall, league commissioner, to decide whether he will allow Vick to play again.. would any team take him? thats hard to say, but id probably say yes.. i think atleast a couple teams would take the risk
his contract will become void if the falcons cut him, and the falcons wont get any money back out of his contract if he get cut.. if he is cut, that would free up their cap room

the gambling is the main legal concern.. dogfighting is the PR part.. yes its still illegal, but its more of a gray area than gambling.

He's a piece of shit and he's done terrible damage to the Falcons. I think and hope his NFL days are through. Gambling is the unforgivable sin as far as the NFL rules are concerned and I'm sure they'll use that to grind his dick in the dirt and forever lock him out of the NFL because the NFL doesn't want some cock who used to electrocute dogs wearing a jersey.
Anyway, he sucked as player as well. Couldn't even complete a 20 yard pass down the middle. No finesse at all. Always ended up hurt and slow as shit but still playing the same stupid game. And no leadership skills at all.

when you look at his passing numbers alone they arent overly impressive, but when you also take into account his rushing yards and rushing TD's it really gives you a better sense of what he meant to that offense.

The thing is, when Vick played well, the Falcons were on fire but... like I said, time after time he got hurt, especially deep into the season but still continued to play. And when he wasn't full on, he truely did suck. IMO, he should've just been a running back. It was too costly for the Falcons not having an effective QB more than half the time.
