I guess this question is mainly for guys. I dunno, I get so grossed out when I'm in a men's room and I see some guy finish up at the urinal, then press the handle to flush it (you know, after every other guy with his hand on his dick has also pressed it) and then just walk out. I end up keeping my eye out for these people later on in the bar, doing everything I can to not touch anything they touch. I'm kinda neurotic about always washing my hands after I go to the bathroom. My girlfriend's germophobia is rubbing off on me.

Did you know that if you flush with the lid up, a polluted plume of bacteria and water vapor erupts out of the flushing toilet bowl? The polluted water particles float for a few hours around your bathroom before they all land. Some of them will land on your toothbrush.

Yes. I have a germ problem and I have to wash my hands every 15 minutes, or every time I touch something that I deem "unclean."

so do you remove yourself from the toliet, then squat and hovering.
i cant help but notice the guy in the stall next to me (this has happened on several occasions) will just wipe his ass like while sitting on the shitter. tried this method the other day, works great.

I have family member whose a real germopho(sp?).She wash new toys, before she gives it to her kids. Five years of doing this, she wonders way her kids stay so sick.

first thing done to newly enlisted US Soldiers... were giving about 8-10 shots.. so immediately everyone becomes very sick but hey, the immune system gets strong in about 6 weeks and you are healthy again.
that being said, i havent been sick since being back home.. only 2 months but still.
keep dem vitamin C levels high.

I always flush public toliets with my foot, and I also always wash my hands. I'm kinda OCD about that shit.
It's a good habit to have though.

Yeah, thats one of my favorite Carlin bits. I Love his diatribe on germs and people who fear them. I am totally not a germaphobe and I don't fear touching things in public places. It doesn't even bother me when I have to use the porta-potties on the jobsites. And guess what, I almost never get sick and recover quicker then most when I do.
The immune system needs to get a workout to be healthy just like any other part of the body. If you never expose yourself to any germs then you become more susceptible to them. Not to say you have to be a disgusting pig, but constant washing and hand sanitizing can be bad also.
Oh, and to answer the question...yes, I wash my hands most times I go to the bathroom. Its not germaphobia, its just basic hygiene. But I don't get all weirded out when I have to grab the door handle on the way out.

I bet you that my dick is cleaner than your face. I think washing before you pee would actually be a better habbit. Also I never touch the flusher on those things because I axe kick kick the shit out them, fuck everyone else. Btw, I still wash my hands and use a paper towel on the door handle on my way out.

Good rule of thumb, if you're clean enough that oral sex would be a GO, who cares if you wash your hands. If not, scrub that stank off them.
Seriously, how can you go from considering something filthy and germ-ridden.. to trying to get someone to suck on it?
I do often wash my hands before I piss, but then, I get all kinds of grease and grime on my hands at work.

Almost always after i shit. I never touch any surface in a public restroom tho. Its so much easyer to flush the toilette with your elbow or foot.

this is a topic im absolutely OCD on...
if im in a public restroom & i need to drop a duece,
ill wipe the toilet seat clean, flush it,
if they have those toilet seat covers,
i'll fold 1 in half and layer it on top of the water
so the water doesnt splash back up on my ass), hahaha,
then i'll line the toilet seat with 2 covers.
if they dont have those covers,
i'll line the toilet seat with toilet paper.
also, i'll lift/drop the seat lid & flush with my leg/shoe.
after the deed, i'll dispense the papertowel before i wash my hands & let the paper towel hang while i wash my hands.
after washing my hands i use the paper towel to dry off a little,
then use the paper towel to dispense more
so i dont touch the handle.
then finally, i use more towel to open the door so i dont touch that handle.
then i toss the paper towel in the trashcan on the way out.
the only time i dont wash my hands is if i determine
my hands would be cleaner even after washing from a dirty sink.
OCD i know, but i rarely ever get sick *knock on wood*
i also work in an upscale restaurant,
specifically on the food itself right before
it goes out to the customers so i try to keep my hands
top notch on that scale.

Im highly opinionated on this issue. personally, if im just going to take a piss, I wont wash my hands.
The reason for that is... IF there is ONE thing that im going to be damn sure i get clean in the shower, its my dick. everything comming out of it is also sterile.
If anything while taking a piss ill wash my hands first so i dont get my dick dirty.....
also where im at, in the burbs of chicago at the moment.... 90% of all bathrooms have automatic flushers, so i dont have to touch that, as for the door handles.... i try and avoid those too, by walking out as someone walks in, or using a paper towel to open it, etc.
however if i take a shit, im washing for sure.... same goes for any use of a truck stop bathroom.

usually when i stroke the ol' beard its because im bored and couldnt careless about what the person who is talking to me is saying. i love pulling out the beardstroke when the boss is talking to me (a 5'2'' little mexican lady)

I too think beard stroke = got me thinking.
As a lady I wash my hands before definately and usually after i touch the Cat. Def before -I work around a lot of toner and dust. dont need that around my precious lady. and after, just cause!
Also I cant relax enough to drop a hot one at work. Only if it is an emergency. and only if it s private (one person at a time) toilet.

after the deed, i'll dispense the papertowel before i wash my hands & let the paper towel hang while i wash my hands.
after washing my hands i use the paper towel to dry off a little,
then use the paper towel to dispense more
so i dont touch the handle.
then finally, i use more towel to open the door so i dont touch that handle.
then i toss the paper towel in the trashcan on the way out.
the only time i dont wash my hands is if i determine
my hands would be cleaner even after washing from a dirty sink.
OCD i know, but i rarely ever get sick *knock on wood*
i also work in an upscale restaurant,
specifically on the food itself right before
it goes out to the customers so i try to keep my hands
top notch on that scale.

I'm not a big germaphobe myself.
I always wash my hands after a shit, but it's kind of random if I'm just pissing.
The bathrooms in our clubs downtown are gross. Anytime a person goes in there, it's a gaurantee it's full of people. there's usually paper towel EVERYWHERE, all over the sink, piling up in huge amounts around the garbage can. I just walk in with my beer, like many others, set it down, take my quick piss and get the fuck out.
I think washing your hands is a good habit, but I think some people are to paranoid about "germs"
like flushing a toilet with your foot? whoever said that, that made me laugh. some people get carried away

yes I do, and I use the paper towel I dry my hands with to open the door on the way out. I will also wash my hands before going to the bathroom if they're dirty.. don't wanna rub germs all over my junk.

Dude, the foot is such an under used appendage. It's very useful for opening door, flushing toilets, kicking people, etc. It's not even so much that I do it because of germs, I just like axe kicking stuff and not getting someone else's shit or piss on your hands is a plus.

If somebody is in the bathroom then, yes, I wash. But, if I'm by myself then I don't.
