we'll see.. i dont agree at all.. the supporting cast at OSU and Texas is completely different, hell look at the players leaving this year.. you of all people should know that it was conoley jr. who was the true leader of that squad.. he won them most of their tourney games.

and also, very rarely are #1 picks blown on raw talent, most franchises want to draft someone who can step onto the court immediately. I think durrant is more that guy.

I won't disagree with that. But until the tournament most people didn't realize how good Conley was. People think Oden isn't that good because he didn't dominate. He played almost all season with his weak hand only. Don't get me wrong, Durant is a special player, but so is Oden, and to deny that is stupid and wrong. I would rather have Oden, and I think Oden will be a better NBA player.

Oden CAN step onto the court immediately. I said he has raw OFFENSIVE talent. He'll still get his points, but not as much now as in the future. But what he will be able to do is step on the court and have a Ben Wallace-esque presence.

Also, let's not forget that OSU never was good at getting Oden the ball. Once he got his hands on it, he was not able to be guarded. I can't even imagine the stats Oden would have put up if the offense revolved around him.

You didn't watch very closely, apparently. Some people think Matta purposely didn't get Oden the ball as much as he should have so Oden would stick around another year.

Baby Bulls are going home and the Pistons shall move on to the conference finals. Cleveland vs. Detroit in the conference finals should be exciting and competitive. I know cleveland hasnt made it there yet but if they lose to the Nets, I will be shocked. The Nets have no quality big men on there team, they are bringing former Piston Inactive, Mikki Moore, off there bench. Mikki Moore shouldnt even be in the league anymore.

No, I havent bothered to watch the Nets vs. Cavaliers series. I could care less who wins cuz neither team really has much of a chance against Detroit. Not to mention that I thought the Cavaliers would blow the Nets away but its ended up being a good series. REALLY, I cant believe Mikki Moore has been playing well, he was inactived in Detroit cuz he had no game. Looks like the Nets must have been spending a lot of time trying to develop him, though it does make sense, they do need interior help.

Lebron looks less and less great every time I watch him play a game in person...
He could probably score 75 every night if he tried.

are you serious?.. they were up by like 18 when he went to sit on the bench.. he came back in with them up by 1.. then took them on to win by what, 12-15?.. how is he not great... not to mention taking the Cavs to their first conference final in like 15 years..
look at the Cavs progression over the past 4 seasons, every season his team has won more games, and gotten further.
