No, they come empty. The surface is treated and specially formed to allow greater growth and yields than with untreated surfaces. It also allows for better gas exchange within the liquid.

It comes sterile because of the lab work it is used for, as you know the more sterile things are, the less chance of infection/contamination.

Received my samples in the mail today. Thanks a lot for this great link. I'm now in possession of 6 of those low-profile flasks, and an entire case of 250ml polycarbonate rectangular flasks with screw on lids. I took a little over a week, no questions asked or anything like that. They didn't even send me an email saying that they received my sample request. I love getting free stuff. Thanks again.

I got a call from the rep on Monday. I placed a large sample request, anyway my phone battery was dead and I didn't get a chance to talk with her. The rep gave me her e-mail address and told me that she was going on vacation and to just e-mail her. I wrote her saying that many of the items I requested would be ordered frequently due to my gourmet mushroom business. Thats it.

I want to testify that today I received my free sample of 50 cyrogenic vials in the mail via UPS. I am very excited as they should come in handy for a variety of things and they're such cute containers. I haven't opened the big sealed sterile bag they're in yet but even if they are complete shit (which they don't look like), they're free.

Yeah that makes a lot of sense. A company that sells microbiology supplies "rigging" their site so that they can catch shroom growers. Can you tell me how they are going to differentiate the shroom growers from everyone else who is purchasing their products for microbiology? I understand being safe and secure, but come on. The products aren't even really all that useful for general cultivation. I ordered samples from them, and they arrived just fine no additional questions or anything. Besides, you only registered 4 days before him. Paranoia....

Yeah i know that.. did i tell you all to go to a site for free stuff?? I don't think so.. I wouldn't be surprised at anything anymore tbh. Nothing will ever surprise me again. It's totally possible. Your view to me is the same view as 'it'll happen to someone else, not me." thing is you are that someone else to me.
It was just a thought provoker.. nothing more nothing less. To attack me for provoking a thought of security baffles me. Who knows if/how many folks have been traced on these boards boards by the system?
Governments have teams of folk scouring myspace and youtube etc for folk.. according to our news in UK. There was drug busts here because a picture of someones cannabis plants on myspace etc.. a site that wouldn't hesitate in giving out peoples IP's to authorities.
This site on the other hand WOULD, so how else would they get addresses..? It's called a 'honeypot' and it happens. What rock are you under thinking shit like this don't happen? In a hobby like this.. although you might not agree..

Sorry man, didn't mean to come off like a dick. I was just saying that in my opinion the likelihood of that site being anything like that is very low. That said, I did do a little bit of research before ordering the samples to make sure it was legit, and also made sure that I didn't use the link in the thread, but found it elsewhere on the web. Again sorry about the wording of my post above, didn't mean to come off like I was attacking you. It's just been a bad day.
