Ringing in the Ears
    #6624979 - 03/01/07 06:20 PM (6 years, 2 months ago)

Iv been getting this when i smoke on adderal, right when lyeing in bed trying to sleep. Is it because of high blood pressure? Should i be worried enough to go seek help?

Ya i was taking huge hits and was stoned but not ridiculous ya know? The ringing went on for a good 2 minutes I was only smoking so i could fall to sleep, its impossible on adderal.

That's burning, not ringing.

Homer Simpson: "My ears are burning."

Lisa Simpson: "Dad, I wasn't talking about you."

Homer Simpson: "No, they're really burning.  I couldn't see inside so I lit a Q-tip."

I'm sure mine is from listening to headphones 3-5 hours a day for 5 years.

I don't have any headphones anymore.

Be careful... if your ears are ringing when you take them off, you are damaging your ears.

I've read repeatedly that headphones are only safe for up to 30 minutes a day at up to 50% volume.

If your ride home is on the bus (like mine was for a few years), then you've got them turned up enough to drown out traffic, which is probably too loud.

Just a word of warning... tinnitus sucks because it is permanent.

As far as I know, ringing in the air, is those small "hairs" that either is broken, or laid flat... (...or even touching.)

In the snail-house in the inner ear thing..
