Pink Floyd - Flaming from Piper at the Gates of Dawn is a song that might evoke such imagery.
It's damn trippy, it especially was to me when I went out on lunch break as a HS freshman and smoked kind nugs and black tar heroin out of a bong for the first time.

I suppose another Cream song: "Sunshine of Your Love" is such a song. Also, alot of Grateful Dead songs have related themes, such as "Scarlet Begonias."
You could also consider "Wild Horses", though it doesn't have much to do with rainbows, flowers, or sunshine, but is a cool song with a nature theme.

yeah, rainbow in the dark  !! that one immediately came to mind when I read the title of the thread. the video is rediculous, but I still think the song is pretty good, arguably the heaviest song ever written about rainbows. At least that I've heard  .
and these are a couple metal songs about flowers that came to mind as well, heh

listen to the apples in stereo man,mostof there music just sounds like rainbows, sunshine,flowers,candy and other happy things. It's happy, psychedelic pop. They even have a song rainbow.
