Tobacco alternative?

Does anyone know of a plant that can substitute tobacco in my joints? I've quit smoking, but I still smoke joints. I don't want to get addicted to joints because my brain starts to associate nicotine with joints. Preferably something that doesn't have an overwhelming taste.

I knew a girl once that grew mint to dry, and mix with her joints.

That sounds like a fun idea. Looks like I'll be growing some mint this season.

Kinnick Kinnick is good. I quit smoking cigs a while back. Kinnick Kinnick was a good replacement for tobacco. It's a nice relaxing Native American smoking blend. Makes you feel sedate and calm and has a nice smooth, as well as unique flavor. I would assume it would go well with some buds. You could even use it to stretch your stash (so to speak). I like to smoke Kinnick Kinnick to unwind every once in a while, does the trick every time.

Catnip maybe.
How about a un-tainted joint only containing herb?

Sounds good. Doesn't it contain nicotine though? I don't have to worry about my stash, not yet at least

To all those people who say I should smoke my joint pure and unadulterated. That's just not the way I do it, so lay off. I like to smoke a few joints and get a nice stone going not instantly lock myself on the couch. I don't know what you are smoking, but if I smoke a couple of pure joints I'm floored. Also I would just have smoked an eighth in one sitting. So I mix, it also gives me a smooth smoke which I prefer. I don't use cigarette tobacco btw, I use rolling tobacco which is a lot smoother and better tasting.

I dont use cigarette tobacco either I use rolling tobacco for the same reasons, cant even smoke joints made with cigarettes. I don't smoke plain cigs anymore, used to, did so for about 3 years and never got addicted, never enjoyed it. Not even really sure why I kept it up so long. Someone is probably thinking 3 years and not addicted? It's true, I literally quit overnight I never got cravings for cigarettes and could smoke a 20 deck one day and not be bothered for another couple of days. Weed on the other hand, totally different, I digress. I was looking for a good locally available tobacco alternative and will say to check your local health shop. Most places that sell natural extracts and stuff like that will sell nicotine free tobacco alternatives. They come in both cigarette and rolling pouch form.

No there is not a single lick of nicotine in the Kinninck Kinnick I smoke. Although there are some versions of the blend that include Nicotania rustica and/or tobaccum.

Lobelia has been used as a smoking cessation aid, it would probably make a good additive to Kinnick Kinnick.
I'll post a small excerpt about Kinnick Kinnick soon so anyone who is interested can research it's constituents.

Kinnick Kinnick (A Native American Somking Blend) [Re: entheoindole]

I love Kinnick Kinnick. This smoking blend is so soothing and relaxing. I want to share it with everyone who doesn't know about it. The following paragraphs include some details about the various ingredients wich make up Kinnick Kinnick. Anyone who is interested in kinnick Kinnick, give it a try, you'll like it but don't expect it to be like the ganja though; you'll be disappointed...
Kinnick kinnick is a traditional mixture used when smoking the sacred pipe (or peace pipe). It is made from five different traditional herbs, each bringing a different attribute to the mixture. It is also acceptable to burn it separately, say in a shell or bowl without a pipe.
Yerba santa is widely used by Native Americans and was particularly famed for its ability to ward off negativity and provide an element of protection. The leaves were often carried by individuals to boost their spiritual strength and, in incense form; it's still used today in a healing capacity. As such, it's an ideal incense to choose if you want to bring an air of healing, protection or increase positive vibes in an environment.
Bearberry leaves are used during ceremony, as they contain antiseptic and astringent properties, which help cleanse and purify the air.
North Americans view osha root as having great power and luck, and as such it's often carried as a lucky talisman. When burnt, it produces a warm and slightly spicy aroma, which is believed to purify the air and also help connect to the higher realms.
Red Willow bark: Willows are regarded by Native Americans as being relatives of the four winds and carries your prayers on the wind and communicates them to the creator. The bark works well in incense and is an important ingredient in sacred smoking ceremonies. It's calming and soothing, making it an ideal herb for use with clearing purposes and during quiet sessions of meditation.
Mullen is regarded as being a protection herb and is used in many situations where extra protection is required. It's also thought to have masculine energy and associations with fire - some traditions have used it when trying to invoke fire elementals - but it's equally helpful when used by men or women. It is a grounding, calming and healing herb.
