Beautiful play by Bush and the Saints. Luckily he didn't fumble on the flip, lol.

I hope it's the Bears vs Pats.  We'll have our 4th superbowl in 6 years

Wow, and another TD by the Bears.  This is just fucking ugly.

I'm gonna agree with you there.  The Bears defense won't be able to beat the Pats on their own.

are you serious?... as long as rex played like he did today.. bears are superbowl champs.. NE's offense is NOTHING compared to the Saints.. if the bears could contain the saints and drew brees, what makes you think they cant stop brady and his band of mediocre players.

Um, we beat them during the regular season.  If they couldn't beat us in the regular season, how do you expect the Bears to beat our "mediocre" team during the playoffs, when the Pats always play their best football during the post season?

ok.. first of all.. you guys barely beat us the first time.. if we woulda got ahead like we couldve.. i bet that game wouldve gone alot differently...

dont count all your marbles befor you got em in the jar... after all, this isnt the same patriots team that one all those rings... no more dominating defense, several key injuries, and most importantly no more vinateri... i bet that will come back to bite you

Are you kidding me? Obviously you didnt know that the Patriots defense this year allowed less points than any team in their history.

obviously i do know that.. just dont care.. cause all that matter is where theyre at right now.... and where theyre at right now, is still needing a win to even make it to the superbowl

WEll, if you knew that then why would you say that they have no more dominatiing defense? Because obviously if this defense (which based on stats is their  best) isn't dominating, then none of the other ones were either. Or maybe you just don't know what you are talking about .

you seem kinda crankey for the bears winning today..

i agree with you thought. IMO the Pats shouldnt have even beat the chargers, they caught some lucky breaks.. IF the Pats do somehow beat the Colts.. I hope the Bears rape the fuck out of them.. I HATE THE PATS.

Woulda, Shoulda, Coulda.  You didn't get ahead, you didn't win, and whether you "bet" things would have gone differently if you HAD gone ahead, you didn't, so that's all completely irrelevant.

No, this is not the same team who won the Superbowl rings.  But, yet we're in the AFC Championship game right now, and right now we're winning 7-3, and our secondary has made some amazing plays.  As for us no longer having a "dominating" defense, why don't you tell that to your QB, who was picked off 3 times by Samuel, and lost a fumble to Seymour.

I'm not counting on us winning tonight, I think it will be a great, close game - but the Pats always seem to find a way to win in the post season, with or without Vinateri, as we showed last weekend when Gostkowski made a few great kicks, including the one with only 1 minute left.  I just think it's ridiculous when people call us a "mediocre" team, when I think the team has done enough to prove otherwise

Yeah but don't worry, our mediocre defense and the fact that we don't have Vinateri will come back to bite us in the ass

It's great though, the Pats love being underdogs, and love when people talk shit and say they don't deserve to be where they are.  It's just added motivation for them to go out and play with heart and win against the odds.

If our 3 superbowls in 5 years team is "mediocre", then I don't really know what a "good" team looks like

I think that he was saying that a good team is one with Rex Grossman at quarterback.

I never said that you said they were mediocre, just that people have said it.  I never said the Bears didn't have a chance, or that they weren't a good team - just that I think we have a better shot against them than the Saints   And I think that yes, you guys played like shit in our last matchup, and that Rex is fully capable of playing just as shitty of a game in the superbowl.

Oh, and I hope you guys just took note of that 4th and 6 conversion we just made, and the touchdown that followed.  14-3 Pats
