Nah, like I was saying, I have no experience with racks. The review that you linked itself read like a technical dictionary.

It looks impressive, and it sounds like it has a lot of capability. Hopefully it came with a manual. I'd take some time to study it, and start to fuck around with it. It seems like a machine that can really make stuff sound professional, but its still foreign to me.

yah, it can do some pretty impressive choir synths. that's about all i can get it to do so far...i am trying to see if it can be run through the guitar, that might sound pretty intense.

Would it do drum triggers? If so, that would be cool.
Impressive choir synths sounds like a world of opportunity to me. I've been working on composing some songs with a program called Guitar Pro 5, its basically a tablature interface to program MIDI with some enchanced sound for the guitar tracks, and I'm always using either a string ensemble, a choir synth, or both.
Now I'm not sure if I want to pick up the guitar or open Guitar Pro, after I smoke this bong. Probably go the Guitar Pro route for now, since my wrists are a bit sore. There used to be a site called mysongbook.com that had some pretty accurate tabs for all kinds of musikk, until the MPAA shut them down (or, rather, the French version of it). Fortunately, I have the cracked version of Guitar Pro 5 and a zip of their entire database. GREAT tool for developing one's guitar playing.

Holy shit you just made my fucking day. Five shrooms for you.
I hate using the zip file archive, and love to have access to new songs.

I think that if they continue to update the zip archive and have everyone download it, if they get shut down, someone else can set up another template site to host the database. They'll just keep passing it on, and the MPA won't be able to keep up. These are interpretations by the creator of the file, not copyrighted material, and the existance of these files and their sharing do not pose any threat to anyone's money-racket.
I should post a few of my original gp5 files for you, if I can find a place to upload them.

Those are some friends of mine. I'm going to finally see them play next week; they go to school a few hours away and shit always came up, keeping me from going out there. Now they're going to be playing nearby....and once I get a car I'll travel out to see them.
A couple of them were in another band a couple years ago, called the Frontside; psychedelic jazz.....they were fucking SICK man, I have copies of the demos they put out, and got spun to them a couple times. Awesome stuff, the keyboardist got married and they retired the band. They were thinking about finding a new keyboardist, and I strongly supported that idea...tried to get them to keep it going, but it never happened.
Anyways, I just wanted to add that to your thread brother, I'm going to check your tunes out in a minute and let you know what I think.
listened to that band. very cool! very jam band(ish). not really my type of music but i could definently appreciate this stuff. How many vocalists are there?
