 The New Final Fantasy VII Remake for PS3

It's been confirmed and I'm tweaking! IMHO This is hands down they best RPG I've ever played. You could understand the story-lines (though pretty deep), the characters are unforgettable, and the Materia system is my favorite yet. Now imagine the PS3 version. They teased us with a PS3 tech demo and said that's it but my recent EGM confirmed it's on its way.
Imagine how well this shit will work:
Menu system
Changing materia
The world map
Music
Sephiroth
XXX rated honeybee inn lol
O my god this game will never leave me. As Corney as that sounds, my kids will definitely play this when they turn 14.

I love FF7 for PS.

I fucking hate PS3 for this now. I'm gonna have to go spend a bunch of fucking money for a system I don't even want to play this one damn game.

too bad i'm not getting ps3...

I didn't even like RPG's. I couldn't understand why I kept dying every time I got 5 minutes into a game. Then I learned how to use potions, level up, etc and I became hooked. I didn't even play FF7 until a few years after it came out and I didn't want to play it because I felt like, "Everyone's been there, done that.." I got REALLY into it tho. The music, characters...everything just fit. I can't wait to see how beautiful this game will look with all that new hardware power. They're probably going to add so much more to it as well.

The PS3 has shitty load times. It takes 8 minutes to install.... uh... some fucking racing game. I can't remember what. But FUCK THAT. I'll stick to my wii! I need more than just good graphics.

Wii looks great too. That price is awesome, and I might actually get both. I usually stick to one system but I think Wii is upholding it's roots and focusing more on fun than graphics.

Definitely. I'm waiting until the holiday rush is over and some better games that the launch ones are out. I want to see them take full advantage of the cell processer and blu-ray. I think I'll just buy one when FF7 comes out. I've been really out of the video game loop lately.

I might finally play through the whole game once this is out, if someone I know gets a PS3. It couldn't keep my attention before, even though I tried 3 times over. The movie Advent Children is a beaut tho.

Here's the whole FF7 crew....then WHAAAA? Sephiroth's back!
2 minutes later he's dead again.
Then end.
They just reintroduce all the characters, beat sephy, then roll credits. :snooze:

I haven't heard much about the PS3 but I know I sure as fuck wasn't impressed with what I have seen of the 360. I Granted I haven't fucked with it in a while but when it first came out I was disappointed. FF7 for PS3 sounds tubular

Not exactly sure which issue, I think 2 back, but EGM said the rumors are now fact. It wasn't a huge article or anything, just a little blurb they put somewhere. Good think I was on the toilet at the time when I read it, I shit myself  EGM talked a lot of shit about it, getting us all excited but then in a few issues back they confirmed it.

Overrated? Maybe, it all depends on when you played it i guess. It was the first game i had ever played of it's type, the RPG, and it's definitely the best (in my opinion). The characters, the music, and how it was all put together just went together 100%.
Do you have any link or anything for this? Cause it's one of those games to buy the system for, at least for me. At least when the price tag drops a few hundred dollars.

Yeah FF7 was pure magic. It brings back so many memories...there's so much to do in that game...Sometimes when I'm chillin spun out in my room I'll pull out a sketchpad and pop in the soundtrack.
