Coffee, and Cannabis, a classic combo

I love to mix coffee and Cannabis, I find they go well together as long as I dont overdo the coffee end of things. Am I the only one that loves this combo??
I would assume I'm not. My brother gives me shit about drinking coffee, cause "its addictive" etc, and I used to bash it a bit, but in those days I didnt like the effects it had on me, maybe something changed. "Mom drinks coffee everyday...almost" Oh shit, call the police, we have an unfit, working mom that cant take care of her 21 year old son. My brother did abuse meth for awhile, and now he is on this whole addictive drugs trip.
As if every addictive drug will leave me penniless and stupid. I try and explain to him that just because something is addictive, that doesn't mean I cant enjoy it now and then without getting a full blown addiction.
When I admitted that I was addicted to coffee, he lit up, "I told you", then weeks later, when I told him it wasn't a problem anymore, and I can enjoy it again, because I cut myself off for a few weeks, he looked disappointed, then he acted like he didt believe me. Geez!
ANYWAY, who here love the coffee cannabis combo??? I do especially when its late at night, and want to stay up getting stoned Reading ,playing guitar, watching a movie(or doc)..... or doing whatever else it is I do. Not all of my activities can be discuss here

I know, isn't it a beautiful combo , Personally too much coffee throws the whole thing off for me, but I don't know what you guys consider too much, I sometime drink 2-3 20oz cups in a day.
I have some coffee in the microwave right now, I'm going to drink it, shower, and clean up my house while listening to a show about mushrooms.
Its 9:41pm here.

I drink more soda than coffee, but yeah, mild stimulants and weed are great.
Hell, back when I did meth I used to love to combine those two as well. I'm not the type to knock someone's caffeine addiction now though. Really, meth was so much easier to lay off of than caffiene. If I don't have at least one soda or coffee a day I get bad headaches. I never had anything like that from not doing meth.

I got headaches from coffee after drinking it everyday for weeks, I realized then I had a mild physical addiction, so I stopped for 2 weeks. Now I just drink it now and then, although I have been drinking coffee for 3 days straight in the last week. Hippie Chick, I'll let you smoke in the house, if you make the pancakes.
BTW, I loved the pic of you sitting in your pressure cooker the other day. Very MYCO-Sexy

I don't think there's anything wrong with a mild physical addiction or two. Sometimes I'll stop drinking caffiene (usually for external reasons - lack of availability, got sick, etc) and after two days I'm fine. It's a lot harder for me to stop because my wife drinks sodas just like me. Maybe for New Years we'll set our "future broken resolution" to stop drinking caffiene.

"I have some coffee in the microwave right now, I'm going to drink it, shower, and clean up my house while listening to a show about mushrooms"
This sounds like my life.
I too agree that coffee and cannabis is a wicked combo. I love it combined with reading, doing math late at night, etc. Haven't been partaking as much lately however... I do miss the nice combo buzz you get when the caffeine kicks in. I've been trying to cut back on the coffee lately as it irritates my stomach, usually try to keep it to 1-2 cups a day. I read that something like 80% of adult north americans are regular coffee drinkers and show signs of addiction...

It's such an excellent combo..
When I was in school for multimedia design between '03 and '05, out of necessity I started drinking coffee for all of those late night projects I needed to do. Then I discovered that a bit of pot thrown into the mix was basically the perfect combination for being creative and productive at the same time. Sometimes pot on its own allows my mind to wander around and come up with great ideas, but often my train of thought would go off and I'd loose the direction I needed to finish something that I started. Coffee speeds my brain up and motivates me to work my ass off, so it corrects the former problem of weed and basically turns me into a very creative and efficient designer. I can come up with an idea and carry it out completely vs brainstorming and then losing my direction.
I recommend it for anyone who does artistic related work.. I believe its called a "hippy speedball".. It's great.

I guess if yer a little burnt out then coffee and marijuana might go well together, and from a drs perspective (and not dr gonzo's, i'll address him in a sec) coffee inactives the effects of marijuana (duh, that's why we drink coffee to sober-up or quit entirely).
If u drink coffee/do drugs at night then u r really burnt-out, and if you are not already burnt-out u will be soon becoz if u do drugs at night the brain does not get the badly needed oppurtunity to repair itself.
****I almost forgot: dr gonzo: your picture reminds me of when I was ****** as a child and by the looks of it I would imagine that the idea for the picture originated from an abused mind. Its especially strange to see a woman be so explicit unless she was physically, mentally, or verbally abused at some point.
For practically everybody drugs are a downward spiral. I've only ever met one person who might have had it under control. He said: and i quote: "I only trip once or twice a year" at a public lecture that he gave. I imagine some of you here might have attended that lecture at a college near u.

Woot! I love it. I feel like drinking coffee when I smoke all the time. I ritually partake in both. If I could start my own religion, I would.

So you're implying you're a doctor yet you think that coffee really sobers people up? I gotta assume that any self respecting Dr would actually type out full words. Not to mention any Dr would realize that the effects of weed are far more varied than a simple depressant which could be somewhat countered by coffee. Even depressants like alcohol are not truly countered by caffiene.
So doing drugs at night is bad because that's the magic time when our brains regenerate? (sounds like what my mom used to say about growing when I slept to get me to go to bed, aka BS)
So the only women that would consent to any form of erotica have been abused? And by the way, every single person has been abused in one of those fashions you mentioned at some point. Basically what you said was "any woman would do that" then. I don't know anyone who hasn't been verbally abused by someone at some point.
How could you ever know if someone had ze drugs under control? For that matter, how does anyone ever have anything under control? To say you have something under control is to say that at no future point will you lose control. Otherwise it's just a particularly long spiral. Are you saying you can predict far off futures or something? Or is it that the people you think have something under control do and the people you don't think have something under control don't? Wow, you must be really smart to make such broad generalizations about people.
There's far bigger fish in the drug sea to fry than coffee and bud.

One of my college groups of friends used to say "boo'erns". This is fucking crazy. Now we've all moved to different areas - one dude's in San Fran, Inianapolis, Houston, etc.
The guy who claims to have said it first amongst us said it was from some Simpsons episode where Homer gets the plant, but then a regulatory agency comes looking for him (the new Mr. Burns) and he thinks "don't say Mr Burns, don't say Mr. Burns..." "I'm Mr. Boo'erns".
