 Question about Psy/Goa

Is there actually something like christian psy/goa? Sorry if I asked a dumb question   .
Lately I've been kinda into goa and psytrance and I'm christian so hance the question.
Really like the music, my fav genre along with prog rock/metal.

Psytrance and Goa can be spiritual in a way as is.I dont know of any producers that add any dogma to their tunes though.
A friend of mine spins psy,he is a devout christian.Sometimes he adds smaples of bible verses and stuff.Not my thing,but ok.
So.. yes it can be christian.Can you find some that is?Doubtfull.Can you find a dj that is a christian psy dj,maybe.

I agree - does it REALLY matter if it's not Christian? Music is music, and since goa barely has lyrics (usually samples), it shouldn't matter.
Be more open minded on other views rather than attempting to only listen to Christian music.

Indeed. A lot of Goa is spiritual, and you can apply it to your own spirituality. I just saw Goa Gil last weekend, and the event was part party, part religious celebration. I'm a Gnostic Christian myself, and I shared my religious perspective with others there, and everyone there was a very spiritual person. There was a big altar in front of the stage, and there was a tent with a bunch of candles. Don't worry too much about what particular spiritual tradition someone comes from. It's all pointing to the same truth.

Heh I just saw goagil this past weekend. I wasnt really all too impressed with his set but it was fun anyways. But you are right about alot of the people being spiritual one way or the other. I wouldnt say its more mainstream religion spiritual but more like acid hippie spiritual (kinda hard to put it). But I have never seen soo much acid going around in my life...people were practicly giving away free hits that night.

I believe that psy/goa helps with self exploration and identifying your innerself. If christianity is important to you, any ambiet psy or goa will help you with your journey.
Check out [ this ] guide to explore some other genres of trance music.
